when is the right time to use it, ive been using it on all my clips but i think its just too much, when watching zedans vids they dont always have it

Hey lads, so I was editing a YouTube video right now and I was thinking, should I add flashy edits like music, photos, effects etc. Or should I just keep the edits low and instead focus on the advice that I am giving, and giving out the best advice I can give? Ive seen Hamza say that the goal is to have students, not people who need edits and stuff to focus. Also @Zedan Mutlu Ive seen his old videos and they have little to no edits, but they're filled with value. but now his videos have edits and clean intros. So I am just thinking for a beginner content creator, should I aim to have fewer edits or have edits and photos that engage the viewer?
