I’ve been reading your replies and DMs, and one thing keeps coming up:
“How do you actually script and how you make a storytelling for your content that keeps people engaged?”
So here’s how I approach it simple and practical.
I don’t sit down and write scripts line by line.
I collect inspiration 🧠
Most of it comes from:
- Movies 🎥 (pacing, tension, silence)
- Reels & short-form (I analyze creators daily and adapt what works to my style)
- Lessons my younger self needed to hear earlier
- Music 🎶 sometimes one song creates a whole scene in my head
Before recording, I ask myself 🤔
What do I want the viewer to feel?
Once you know the emotion, the structure is easy:
- Hook: create curiosity or tension in the first seconds
- Context: why this matters now
- Insight: the lesson or realization
- Payoff: a line or visual that sticks
To keep attention ⁉️
- Cut anything that doesn’t move the story
- Change visuals when energy drops
- Use pauses and silence on purpose
- Say less, but make it hit harder 💥
This is a big skill, so I’ll break down hooks, pacing, and scripting styles in future posts based on what you want to learn next.
