Hey guys, I started a fantasy league exclusively for me and 11 of my newsletter subscribers. Tested demand first with a poll in the newsletter, then set up an email automation to email the invite link to folks who voted yes. Filled all spots in less than 24 hours. Exciting because it will deepen community engagement, build loyalty, create a way for readers to interact with each other, and lead to some fun content nuggets I can add to the newsletter each week. Who knows? Maybe this will become a yearly tradition and grow from here. But to me, it's validation that there's a larger opportunity to build a tight-knit community with my readers and provide a lot more value in the future. Still tinkering with ideas, but I'm excited about a potential paid annual subscription product that'd be a win-win for my audience and my business. Stay tuned.
