QUESTION OF THE WEEK
If I were a genie and could grant you a specific number of followers... how many followers would you wish for? Worded differently, how many followers do you think you need to consider your creator journey a success?

Early Days of a Sports Creator
This is Nick Ercolano in 2018, breaking down his revenue when he had ~13,000 YouTube subscribers. The first product he ever sold was a $5 fantasy football draft guide. "That's when you get a sense of who your audience is...how much loyalty your customers actually have to your brand" He sold ~200 copies and made $1,000. He made another $1,200 from YouTube AdSense. "I sold 200 copies off an audience of like 3,000 to 5,000 people...[then] we tripled our audience size...tripled our customer base...If I focus on this as a business opportunity, there's a lot of money to be made." Nick had been grinding for years, making zero dollars while sharing free value and pumping out long-form videos. "If you have a lot of value to give...you're doing [your audience] a disservice by not offering them that." Nick put out a video asking what products/services his audience wanted. Most of the answers were about exclusivity & access to Nick. "It needs to be brand-building and community-based in order to scale things." He was right. Since then, he's grown BDGE to 168K YouTube subscribers, 700K social followers, and a robust business. Here's the full video if you're interested: https://youtu.be/G9vGej6DeUk?si=SDCwezjrFA8hdk-j
