- Strong experience with Unity or Unreal Engine (lighting, shaders, materials, rendering pipelines)
- Ability to optimize assets including models, textures, shaders, and animations for real-time performance
- Experience developing tools, scripts, and workflows (Python, C#, Blueprint)
- Strong shader development skills (Shader Graph, Unreal Material Editor)
- Experience troubleshooting performance and rendering issues
- Ability to collaborate across art, engineering, and design teams
- Strong understanding of real-time pipelines from DCC tools (Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance)
- Ability to support asset integration, lighting, and material setup in-engine
- Experience creating and optimizing real-time VFX and particle systems
- Strong artistic eye for lighting, composition, and color
- Bonus: Experience with VR/AR development
- Bonus: Experience with Houdini or procedural workflows
- Bonus: Knowledge of animation and rigging pipelines
