14 day Creative Flow State Challenge starting tomorrow July 1st!
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOeLVyS4Vj/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== Again, this is not to force, pressure or submit to hustle culture here. Not to consume more of you, but to CREATE and express the parts dying to be seen ✨. This is to surrender to the flow and work with the energy to birth magical things with our creativity. Imagine we all showed up for the work we keep putting off, the work we resist but know is so important to our growth. Creating art for the sake of creating is ultimate manifestation. It’s how I manifested a 6 figure project which I will speak more on. So imagine what these 2 weeks could unfold if we surrender to the flooow More details to follow!

Day 5 - 14 day creative flow challenge: normalizing your creative time
your creative time isn’t something necessarily special. It’s sacred for sure. But also completely normal. Sometimes we can build the anticipation. Or make making art be this big mind blowing thing. It’s like this crescendo. A huge build up only to remind us that it wasn’t a big crazy deal to just sit down and create Which is what makes us believe that working on our stuff is going to take so much time, effort, mind power, physical power.. that we need to be in the right mood, have the right amount of time… When the truth is that it’s actually very normal for you to be taking the time to make art. It’s actually very normal for you to put everything else down for a moment to be present with your creativity. It’s actually very normal to work on something that has no direct ROI or outcome. It’s actually very normal and human to desire to create because it’s what we were made for. I was feeling some resistance earlier and next thing I knew, (after organizing some messy files to make the process even easier).. I was in flow working on a song and having a great time. Then I thought “oh, this feels so normal” I didn’t have to “get into flow” I just allowed it. I just embodied my work. This is my life. And that is art too. So, slow down. Take a moment and normalize this practice. Lose yourself a little in the making of. It’s not a big deal. But it means the world.
Day 6/7- 14 day creative flow challenge: Art is life, and LIFE IS ART
Do you feel alive? Or do you find yourself moving from one day to the next and they all begin to blur together? The way us artists stay inspired is to live a life that inspires us. Where the art just becomes a product of our experiences, perspective and expression. So if your practice/life is feeling a little dull or uninspiring... go LIVE. And look at your world around you (your sacred space you reside in).. does it inspire you? does your life feel like one big ongoing masterpiece? Making art is actually a small fraction of what being an artist really is. It's the living, the stories, and our presence in the world that attunes us to receive the download to create with it. Go live today. And see how that effects your creativity 🖤
Day 3 - creative flow challenge: where are you negotiating?
This morning I began negotiate with myself. I felt that my body really needed more sleep especially since I have a lot going on today. I did let myself get more sleep but on one condition- where does my creative session fit in, and do I promise to do everything to protect that time? Even if it’s in the smallest way. So right now I’m at my side job in the bus ride to the location. This is where my 5 minute rule comes in handy. Since I didn’t do it before I left out the door, I can do some writing in the car on my phone instead of scrolling. Then, I also want to have a session in my studio later this evening. That one I will have to have some serious boundaries to achieve. It’s non-negotiable. This is where most people slip, and for good reason. Their partner or friends want to hang out, watch movies, or go party etc. And I’m ALL for living your life. But if you already made a promise to yourself, you have to let them know too. You’re not responsible for others’ emotions here. Because the truth is the person you’re letting down the most is you. Protect your time. And don’t let your inner negotiator take the wheel.
