Hey everyone,
So glad you're here.
Here is the plan
Starting February 17th we will be drawing daily together. (taking weekends off to rest & play)
I will be posting daily doodle prompts, and your job is to fill up your post it note with a doodle.
I am giving you all access to my paid program, valued at $297 completely for free for the next three months.
Inside the program you will learn to confidently create your own abstract work of art. Find your voice as an artist and truly thrive creatively!
My goal is to turn you into a thriving artist.
Disclaimer, this curriculum is a starting point to find your voice!
We will only be drawing with black ink.
No paint, no canvas. Only foundations.
The goal is for you to build the courage to start! and start you will!
For 45 days I am challenging you to doodle and journal daily.
I am also going to push you to post daily too.
Make a new instagram or substack account and dedicate that page to your art only.
Separate you who you are as a person from your art. Let your art live in it's own free universe.
We'll get into this more as we go along, just getting you mentally prepared!
Days 1-14
Will be very childlike and simple.
You will learn the foundations of fine art.
Days 15-30
we'll get deeper.
We will study the artists of art history & you will learn how to make your art "pretty"
Days 30-37
is when we get personal.
Looking back at our own lives.
Drawing our favorite memories.
Photos we've taken on our phones.
Turning those memories into art.
Days 38-45
You will pick your ONE THING
The thing that tugs at your heart the most to keep making.
You will learn to draw BIG and take your doodles to the next level.
Are you ready to become an artist?
Here's what you will need:
Post-it notes or small sketchbook
Micron pens Sizes 08, 05, 01
Extra Recommendation:
"The Artist Way" Book & workbook.
Everyday along with your doodle, I encourage you to journal.
To write out your heart on the page.
Get all those stagnant dreams, desires and hopes out on the page!
We'll talk more about the morning pages as we go through the curriculum.
Take everything in as you can hold it.
Don't feel pressured to run fast, you will burn yourself out.
Think of this as a slow burn. Something you can do for the rest of your life.
If you only want to start with doodles that's fine.
If one day you miss out, that's fine. Catch up when you can.
I suggest carving out at least 10-15 minutes a day to take this program seriously.
5 minutes to log into Skool, & go over the day's assignment.
5 minutes to doodle.
5 minutes to journal.
Some days you might feel called to linger a little longer.
Some days might fly by without checking in. -try to doodle on your own anyways at some point in the day.
You can come back to these lessons at any time within the next three months.
Post in the group with questions, get your art supplies ready, order "the Artist Way" book & let's step into the identity of an artist together!
