Here’s today’s salon scenario:

🚨 THE SCENARIO:

You have a client scheduled for a 2:00 PM appointment.

At 2:25 PM, the client walks into the salon—25 minutes late.

You have another client scheduled at 3:30 PM, and you already know that if you take the late client, there’s a good chance you'll run behind for the rest of the day.

The client says:

“I’m sorry I’m late, but I drove all the way over here. You can still do my hair, right?”

Here’s the problem…

👉🏽 You have a late/cancellation policy.

👉🏽 The client has been late before.

👉🏽 You don't want to lose the client.

👉🏽 But you also don't want your 3:30 client waiting because someone else arrived late.

🤔 WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

A. Take the client anyway and work faster.

B. Tell the client they must reschedule according to your late policy.

C. Modify the service so it can be completed before your next appointment.

D. Make an exception this time—but explain that next time the policy will be enforced.
