Beauty Professionals, I have a question for you today:
If you stopped taking clients tomorrow… would you still have a BUSINESS, or would your INCOME stop too? 👀
💭 THINK ABOUT IT.
Many of us enter the beauty industry focused on getting booked and staying booked.
And yes, clients are important—but being booked doesn't automatically mean you're building a sustainable business.
If your business only makes money when your hands are working, what happens when you:
❓ Take a vacation?
❓ Get sick?
❓ Need time with your family?
❓ Want to reduce your hours?
❓ Decide you don't want to work behind the chair forever?
This is where we have to start thinking beyond being a service provider and start thinking like a CEO. 👑
Ask yourself:
💰 Do I have multiple streams of income?
📊 Do I actually know my business numbers?
💳 Am I building business credit?
🏦 Does my business have money saved?
📋 Do I have systems that can operate without me doing everything?
📦 Could I add retail products, education, digital products, memberships, or another revenue stream?
📈 Am I building something that could eventually grow beyond my individual services?
And here's the BIG question:
Am I creating a JOB for myself—or am I building an ASSET?
There's nothing wrong with working behind the chair. That's where many of us started.
But I want you to understand that your hands don't have to be your only source of income.
