Hey everyone I’m Nicole but I go by my pen name Luna it’s just less confusing since it’s all my social media handles so hoping that’s not too confusing. I’m a blind solitary witch been mostly learning from books and a few online course from a site called centre of excellence. My disability is called Bardet Bediel Symdrom or BBS for short. I’ve been practicing since high school but still learning I have a Brailled tarot deck I use for reading and recently graduated my first oracle deck. I’m an empath but due to being close lot blind I started by see auras rather I sense their emotion and can tell if they have a positive energy or if something dark is feeding off them. I can also see spirit animals though usually just my own which are a raven, a dark grey wolf, and on some occasion a snake. We found out recently that magic is in our family but n our dad’s side and that our descents came from all over but a large part came from Ireland and London. I have a good connection with The Morrigan but also feel prot credit by other deities like Loki, Hermes, Morgan’s le fey, and Artemis. I’m a huge myth person so that may also pay into that.
I’m from Baltimore Md but never felt like it’s my home So wish I could move to Salem or London but that’s out of my price range. What I’m hoping to gain from this lovely community is to grow in my understanding of magic and grow as a student of magic. I tried joining the magical community in my hometown and was turned away due to not being welcome because of my disability which is annoying but something I’ve faced growing up. I’m hoping to make things use in magic open to everyone I’ve started with the decks and now looking at other tools that could make le be transform for the blind community.
