Disaster Resilience for First Nations tourism operators
A little off topic but still a great conversation piece. I’ve been running focus groups with First Nations operators across Queensland, Australia to develop a program evaluation for a client company. Feedback from participants has been insightful and it’s great to hear that one Aboriginal corporation in particular has implemented a heap of measures since attending a disaster resilience workshop held in Outback Queensland last year. Preparing for, and recovering from a natural or manmade disaster is something everyone should do and not just business owners or tourism operators.
About five years ago I created a risk matrix for the home - I think everyone would benefit from going through this process. Have you done anything like this in your home?
