I am working on creating a more efficient workspace for filming. It’s a bit of a challenge setting things up so lights aren’t in the way or work and hands aren’t in the way of cameras. How do each of you have your dedicated spaces set up? If you don’t have a dedicated space, do you have a cart or other mobile rack that you use?

I’ve been seeing these cakes of the rear of a figure’s dress, flowing down the side of a cake, with the back of the figures head over the edge. It’s such a beautiful design technique. I haven’t made one like that. My only experience with dress cakes were the old Barbie style with the dome cake skirts.

Upcoming projects or even ideas of things that you would like to try one day? I’m getting myself psyched up for a new project that has been on my mind for years. I’ll share more as I go.
