Beef & Veggie Skillet
🧠. Tip:
Don’t overcrowd pan or beef will steam instead of brown.
📝. Ingredients:
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 3 cups frozen vegetables
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
Brown the beef in a tablespoon of oil over medium heat, seasoning
with salt and pepper to taste. Stir the beef occasionally, about every 2-3
minutes, to ensure even browning. Once the beef is browned, add the
vegetables. Continue to cook over medium heat, stirring every 3-4 minutes
to prevent sticking and promote even cooking. Check the tenderness of the
vegetables by piercing them with a fork; they should be easily pierced but
still slightly firm. Cook until the vegetables reach your desired level of
tenderness, usually about 8-10 minutes.
