I’m sure we say it every year, but we seem to have lost quite a few celebrities already this year. 😪 Some of those who have died were people I grew up watching on TV or listening to—their work formed part of my childhood and brought back many memories. But why can the death of someone we have never met affect us so deeply? And why do some people mourn celebrities publicly? In this class, we’ll explore our emotional connections to famous people and discuss different forms of public mourning.
