Here’s a 5-step strategy to get a small group of potential clients in front of you, inside 7 days.
(I've been doing this since 2012).
Step 1: Craft the right hook (niche problem/result)
Use this formula:
👉 Location Target Client! + [X] steps to [Outcome] in [Timeframe]
Example:
"Box Hill Professionals! 3 Steps To Eliminate Back Pain In 1-8 days (30-Minute Demonstration At Our Clinic)"
Your hook is everything — this makes or breaks the strategy.
Get a space for 6-20 people (boardroom, hire co-working space, factory, showroom, your office or use someone else's)
Step 2: Set up registrations for the in-person experience
Use Eventbrite (free, easy, trusted).
Create a professional registration page in 10 minutes.
Use the title above and a quick bullet point of each step you'll cover.
Step 3: Get registrants for the in-person experience
Campaigns:
- Meta Ads (for niche local targeting)
The ad formula
A picture of the event location...
Ad Copy:
- Call Out (Who's It For)
- Hook (Event Title)
- Edification (Two-Sentence About Your Experience),
- What You Get (The 3-5 Outcomes from Attending),
- How To Get It (Click The Registration Button)
Eventbrite Ads
(For mainstream audiences).
Promote the event using the platform's built-in paid exposure (use the location for targeting).
Organic
Email your list + invite your network
Every registrant is a lead.
Step 4: Running the event
Take attendees through your process.
Show how to get the outcome/result through steps 1,2,3 etc with either case studies or live demonstrations.
Give value — and let them experience your system in the room.
In-person = no distractions.
They’re with you, start to finish, getting value.
That’s why trust builds fast (with expert positioning - they're listening to you).
They’ve seen it.
They’ve felt it.
They know it’s real.
Step 5: Getting clients
Don’t hard sell.
Walk through how you work with clients.
Simply offer the next step via an application form.
If they want done-for-you or done-with-you help, they’ll raise their hand.
Simple. Clean. High-converting. No Pressure.
One-To-Many return on time (leverage).
Screen applicants after the events and invite those who are a fit to work with you into the paid offer.
With this model, you can go from idea to several clients in under a week.
And launch any idea from scratch to see if it's viable.
