I didn’t go to church today.
Scott, my hubby, was playing guitar for the morning services, and after a late night chatting with my buddy Nicole, the morning just… took care of itself.
When Scotty came home, he shared about the guest speaker — someone who has written a book encouraging people to pick up the Bible every day.And honestly? That became the sermon for me today.
As I’ve been writing this series on Passion Projects, a thought landed quietly but clearly:
What about the passion project of reading and studying the Bible?
Not from obligation. Not from routine. But from curiosity, intention, and relationship.
Out of that conversation, something simple but meaningful emerged — we’re starting our own personal group chat, creating space to focus on the Word together, to reflect, share, and grow without pressure.
And it reminded me that sometimes our most powerful passion projects aren’t public, productive, or polished — they’re personal, grounding, and quietly life-giving.
I am curiou — do you have a practice, book, faith rhythm, or spiritual habit that feels like a passion project to you in this season?Or is there something you’ve been feeling gently nudged toward, but haven’t named yet?
No right answers — just space to reflect 💛
