Proverbs 18 1–2
1 One who has isolated himself seeks his own desires he rejects all sound judgment.
2 A fool takes no pleasure in understanding but only in disclosing what is on his mind.
There are thirty-one chapters in the book of Proverbs, and since it isn't a narrative, it's easy to read a chapter a day. If you miss a day, just skip it and catch it the following month. I try to do this all year round.
Today's chapter for the 18th, the first two verses really hit me as the reason I came up with Constellations. I've seen too many creative projects run on the ego of the isolated "creative genius," or a cavalier CEO telling his creative team he knows better than everyone.
My hope for Constellations is that it's a tool to build community within a brand, or in any setting where everyone can be heard. That the individual or the team doing the creative work is able to connect with the people they're representing and speaking to.
