How I became a College All-American in 1 off season!
How did I become a College All-American point guard in ONE offseason? It wasn't because I found some secret drill. It wasn't because I trained 8 hours a day. And it definitely wasn't because I just "worked harder" than everyone else. I had something most players never create: A PLAN. WRITTEN DOWN. 4 WEEK BLOCKS. After a disappointing end to my soph. college season, I broke my development down into 16 weeks and created my own Player Development Plan (PDP). Every 4 weeks had a different focus. I knew exactly: 🏀 What skills I needed to improve. 🧠 What parts of my game were holding me back. 🎯 What mattered most for my stage of development. That offseason changed my career. In this video, I break down: ✅ The exact PDP I used. ✅ How I structured my offseason into 4-week blocks ✅ What middle school players should focus on. Especially if they play AAU. ✅ What high school players should focus on. Especially if they're focused on recruitment. ✅ What college players should focus on. ✅ How to stop guessing and start developing with purpose. I thought it would be really helpful for you to hear my own story & see how it applies to your own story & journey. I want to be transparent with you guys because I really care about your development. I know each person is different, so hopefully my story encourages you. This will help with your PDP development. **Join our 90 Day point guard transformation journey! Pick either a monthly & premium membership. OPEN GYM HOURS: How to Incorporate God into Basketball?
@Rigo Chavez asked 2 questions 1. How do I incorporate God into basketball more for my 8-year-old daughter? 2. How Can an 8-Year-Old Get Faster? Pray out loud over players - Don’t just say “I’ll pray for you,” actually do it in the moment Use basketball as a ministry - Simple things like Bible verses on shirts or devotionals before practice plant seeds Engage parents too - A short 5-10 minute devotional after practice speaks to both kids and parents Master footwork first - Use agility ladders, jumping drills, and sliding exercises before adding resistance Teach proper running form - Many kids don’t even know how to run efficiently, so focus on mechanics Start light, progress later - Around age 9-10, you can add structured speed training 💬 How do you bring faith into your coaching or training? 👇🔥

OPEN GYM HOURS: How to Encourage Physicality in Christian Athletes?
Pastor Duke from Instagram asked a very good question: How do you encourage physicality in basketball players who are also Christians? ✅ Basketball is a physical game – Many players avoid contact because they were never taught how to create it ✅ Drills over words – Instead of just telling them to be physical, run drills that require them to initiate contact ✅ Start with offense – If they learn to create contact as offensive players first, they’ll naturally develop physicality in other areas How do you teach your players to be more physical?

OPEN GYM HOURS: How To Structure Team Practices?
Coach @Mark Jess Bernaldez asked a very good question on how to structure practices with limited time constraints Key takeaways: ✅ Break it into thirds – 30 min skills, 30 min offense/defense, 30 min scrimmage ✅ Let them play – players learn better by making mistakes, not listening to lectures ✅ Find your leaders – every team has sheep (lost players) and sheepdogs (leaders). Give them space to step up Coaches, how do you structure your practices? Drop your thoughts below! 👇🔥

OPEN GYM HOURS: How to Build a Solid Team You Can Trust?
@Alan Robertson asked a great question about how do you go about building a team that you can trust—both spiritually and relationally? Key Take-aways: ✅ Pray for your 12 – Jesus picked 12, not the most skilled, but the ones willing to follow ✅ Look for your 3AM people – The ones who will show up when it matters, not just when it’s convenient ✅ Create structure – Instead of random attendance, set up 4-week academies for better commitment What’s been your biggest struggle with building a solid team?👇🔥
