Today I had a player have a rough day on the mound. My message to him was simple. “Shake it off. It happens to all of us.” He replied, “I will, thanks coach”
That’s the sign of an athlete maturing and understand the growth process. With his worst outing to date, he showed me he’s ready to play college baseball.
