Free Memberships and Paid Memberships
[Gulp - Big Breath] This was the plan all along, and to be honest I have been slow getting to this point. ๐น๐‘–๐‘Ÿ๐‘ ๐‘ก ๐‘กโ„Ž๐‘–๐‘›๐‘” - Nothing changes for you right now. Free membership is exactly the same you get everything you have now. For as long as you want. Well actually that isn't entirely true, you do have one added benefit, if you introduce anyone to the community and they pay for a workshop or take on a paid membership you will be paid a 40% commission. This commission is paid directly by Skool. -๐‘€๐‘œ๐‘Ÿ๐‘’ ๐‘œ๐‘› ๐‘กโ„Ž๐‘Ž๐‘ก ๐‘๐‘’๐‘™๐‘œ๐‘ค. ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ๐ฌ - These will be on different aspects of preparing your talk. A free member can pay $150 for access to any of the workshops. Paid members will get 'free' access to these workshops. ๐…๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐Œ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ - This is a premium membership. For the first 100 members this will be priced at $25/month (with a discount for annual memberships). After 100 members the price will be increased to $50/month, but founding members will stay at $25/month for as long as they keep the membership. These premium paid memberships will get access to the monthly workshops, and Premium Members Only virtual sessions to get their questions answered. ๐•๐ˆ๐ ๐Œ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ - This is a bit different. I will be offering this from time-to-time. This will be a 90-day group training going through the exact training I take my TEDx Speakers through for TEDxUoWaikato. Including 1-on-1 coaching with me through those 90 days. These members will also get all the other benefits of paid membership. This program is charged at $1,500, with a year of paid access to the community. All prices quoted are in USD. ๐‘๐ž๐Ÿ๐ž๐ซ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ - If you introduce anyone to this community and they become free members, and later take on any of these paid offerings you will get a 40% commission. For example if you become a Founding member and get two other people to join as founding members you will be recouping 80% of your membership each month. If you get three people to join you will actually make a profit every month.

Free Memberships and Paid Memberships
"Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself." โ€” Robert Frost
Every time you take the stage, you have the chance to do exactly that. But most speakers don't see it that way. They worry about what the audience expects. What the event organiser wants. What their industry peers will think. And sometimes the worst bully isn't in the audience. It's the voice in your own head telling you that you're not ready, not qualified, not the right person to be up there. Frost also said: "Never be bullied into silence." Speaking from the stage is a privilege. It's also a responsibility. You get to choose what you stand for, what message you leave behind, and who you are in that moment. Don't let your inner critic or someone else's expectations make that choice for you. Define yourself. Every time. What's something you've learned about yourself through speaking? ๐Ÿ˜‰

When I coach startup founders preparing for investor pitches, we run a brainstorm session that looks chaotic but works brilliantly. I put category headings on a whiteboard: industry questions, competitor questions, regulatory questions, business model, market, talent, IP, and left-field. Then we spend 30-45 minutes frantically adding every question they might get asked. By the end, the board is covered. It looks overwhelming. You realise that one solid answer covers an entire cluster of questions. The 50 post-its become 8 themes. Suddenly it's manageable. And here's the thing most people miss: you don't actually need scripted answers for most of them. The exercise itself prepares you. You've already thought through the angles. When the question comes, you're ready. The goal isn't to memorise responses. It's to remove the surprise. What's your process for preparing for tough questions? ๐Ÿ˜‰
