Hitting that Start Community Button was hard as hell (But I did it!)

What up Everybody!

My name is Andrew Hardin.

I am a 38 year old single father of two sons (18 and 16).

My background is in sales primarily but I’ve done some cool stuff too like…

Be the CEO of a 50,000 sq ft abandoned animal shelter turned non-profit film studio/incubator/event space, an hour from LA, during COVID.

Performed in front of thousands of people as an Actor.

Worked as the Creative lead on projects with the State of California (2020 Census), The LA Clippers, amongst others.

I am currently the administrator for an RCFE for residents with TBIs (Traumatic Brain Injuries).

I’ve done a lot to just provide for my son’s, some times were easier, others really hard.

But…

Deep Down…

…I’ve felt this fire to FULLY BE IN CONTROL OF MY LIFE.…To do it MY WAY (like good ol’ Sinatra).

A constant learner and lurker, I’ve been exposed to internet marketing, sales, copywriting, the whole MMO (make dough online) space FOR YEARS.

I don’t quite remember the day that I found Travis’s stuff but once I did I became hooked. The way he keeps things real and simple, caught my attention.

I lurked in his groups, paid for some of his stuff, but I never fully applied the information.

Everything always felt a little out of reach, like I needed to have a little more information or status or network, or time, or money (or whatever other excuse I could come up with) before applying it.

…Before feeling ready.

Which was odd to me, because one of my first jobs was COLD CALLING business owners across the U.S. to sell them on Google Maps Optimization. I have performed in front of thousands of people.

I know what REJECTION feels like, I am battle-tested and got the scars to prove it. The Internet just felt different to me.

But when I really looked in the mirror:

The truth is: I just had to start and once I started, Stop Stopping.

So that’s what I did.

...I made a DOcision (the decision to do what I said I would do)……and I started my community:

The Late Start Success Club.

It’s for the late ones, the individuals who are tired of waiting for their turn at success, tired of being stuck in survival mode and thinking that what they have now is as good as it will ever get.

It’s for the ones who have been told they are past their prime, the ones who know they got plenty in the tank and are tired of telling themselves someday. It’s for those who have dedicated their life to others: kids, spouses, jobs, everyone but themselves.

It’s for those who have a dream in their heart and refuse to get put six feet in the dirt with that sucker still inside.

I am not sure how to make it even more specific or who to target.

I thought about other single parents, people in my age range: late 30s and older, but truthfully I feel that the main objective for the group is to build a community of finishers. People that show up, day in and day out, until the life they want, is the life they live.

Here’s to the first step and any help/guidance will be appreciated.
