This week I want to bring our awareness on the big O! The OVERWHELM!!!
When stress is chronic, and overwhelm takes over, our motivation drops, food feels confusing and our nervous system is begging for a sense of safety,
Let's take a big deep breath before we dive into anything. Go on, do it with me. Big breath IN threw the nose...... let your belly expand....... and big breath OUT threw the mouth. Let it all out....
Repeat 3-5 times.....
Go on. Please do it.
Now breath in and out threw your nose only, letting the belly expand and contract naturally.
And with each breath, tell yourself, I AM SAFE. I AM SAFE..... I AM SAFE.
Slow your exhalation and feel your nervous system slowly calm down.
