Acrylic Nails Drying VS Curing
Google AI OVERVIEW -Acrylic nails are air-cured and take about 10–15 minutes to dry and harden to the point where they are solid and resistant to smudging, but they continue to fully cure for the next 24 hours. During this first 24-hour period, avoid activities like hot water soaks, strenuous activity, or extreme heat, as this can affect the final curing process. Drying vs. curing - Initial set (10-15 minutes): The acrylic material hardens quickly upon exposure to air, becoming solid enough to work with and not easily smudged. - Full curing (24 hours): The chemical polymerization process continues for the next 24 hours, during which time the nails are still sensitive to damage.  Important care during the first 24 hours - Be gentle: Avoid any activity that could dent or scratch the surface of the nails. - Limit exposure to heat and water: Do not soak your nails in hot water or expose them to extreme heat, as this can interfere with the final curing. - Be mindful of activity: Avoid strenuous activities that could cause stress on the nails.
