To use affiliate partnerships on your computer, navigate to your Professional Dashboard and select the Affiliate Partnerships section to browse and add products. Since you've already been using the mobile app successfully, this desktop workflow will allow you to search for Amazon products and generate posts with the commission-eligible product banner directly from your browser.
Steps to create affiliate posts on desktop
- Go to your Facebook Page or Professional Dashboard.
- Click on Monetize (for posts) or Earn money (for reels).
- Select Affiliate Partnerships.
- Use the search bar or click Choose products to find the Amazon items you want to promote.
- Select your product and click Create post.
- Choose Add to new post, create your content, and click Post.
Key requirements for product banners
- Single product links: You must link to a single product; links to storefronts or collections are not eligible for the banner.
- No link shorteners: Avoid using link shorteners, as Facebook needs to detect the original affiliate URL to apply the banner.
- Direct posting: You must post directly on Facebook rather than crossposting from other platforms like Instagram.
