Two New Things
This month we are going to start a Word of the Month and a Challenge or two moving forward. This month, being the month of February, we will concentrate on the word LOVE. Throughout this month we will not only have the word LOVE, but we will also have a Challenge. The challenges will be: 1.) What does the word LOVE make you think of? Think of this and go take a picture. Then share this with the rest of us, giving the reason why you chose this image for the word Love. Why does it make you think of LOVE? What is the story behind the picture. 2.) Next, I would like to have you create a collage of pictures or a booklet for all the things that you think for LOVE. You are more than welcome to share it with the rest of us, but you do not have to share it with us if you do not want to. 3.) Lastly, have fun with this! This is to be enjoyable and not stressful, so please take your time on these challenges. Always REMEMBER to give yourself and others grace throughout this process. Be Kind to yourself and to others. You never know what someone else is going through.

Galentine’s / Valentine’s
You know how February is the month of Love and it is also know for Valentines, but Love isn’t just for couples or married people. It’s also for you and everyone out there. As I was checking my email I can across one that said Galentines. This was new to me because I had never heard of this before.🤪 I opened the email, which had some cool ideas. So, now this month is not just for couples, it’s also for you; just as it has been for you all along! When I searched on Google this is what it said: “Galentine's Day, celebrated on February 13th, is a holiday for honoring friendships, especially among women, originating from the TV show Parks and Recreation, where Leslie Knope coined the term for a day to appreciate her female friends with brunch and gifts before Valentine's Day. It's now a widely recognized event for people of all genders to celebrate their "gal pals" and the supportive bonds of platonic love, often involving brunches, pampering, or gift exchanges, highlighting friendship as a vital relationship.” Do we really need a holiday to celebrate Love? Why not do an act of love each day?Celebrate yourself and loving yourself because God loved you so much He sent His only Son to die on the Cross for each and every one of us so we could have a chance at spending Eternal Life with Him in Heaven. The Ultimate Sacrifice once and for all. If we should celebrate anything, let it be the Celebration of the Love of Christ. Let’s make the Love of Christ a date everyday! It will make a world of difference in a world focused on other distractions or other things. Sharing His love with y’all. I pray you are uplifted and encouraged everyday. Blessings What are your thoughts on this. Comment below and let us know. We would love to hear your thoughts.
