Zipline time! We were harvesting cocos from a tree in a gully. These were heavy bunches so we didn't want to carry them all the way up the bank... So we got creative 🦧🌴🧠

Did you know healthy Coconut palms produce a new frond and seed pod every lunar cycle? Every seed pod opens into a beautiful flower head (known as an inflorescence), which becomes a coconut bunch. That means every year healthy palms produce 13 lovely bunches of coco goodness 🌴🥥🙏🏼 Talk about abundance

Some of us climb all the way to the top using our hands and feet, others use ladders or long sticks, and some even throw rocks from the ground to knock them down!! And even if you can't climb, you can always collect the fallen brown-nuts, great for cooking.
