I just read a post on LinkedIn by Jeremiah Price with a starting statement of "Most CMMC violations won't be caught by an auditor. They'll be caught by a whistleblower." He goes on to state that "The False Claims Act has a provision most defense contractors don't know about: anyone — an employee, a subcontractor, a competitor — can file a qui tam lawsuit on behalf of the federal government if they believe you submitted a false claim. That includes an inaccurate SPRS score."
And here I thought sharks only lived in the ocean. Wow. I don't know what statistics might back up that claim of "Most violations", but that's an eye-opening statement.
What are your thoughts?
