Saying you have an offer as a strategy
Hey everyone,
I just want to say that when I was job searching last time, I found momentum when I told some employers that I had an offer. Have you had this experience? I think it's worth exploring.
I really had multiple interviews at the time and things moved faster when I said I was in a final round with another company or had an offer. I ended up starting a position but 2 days later I got a much better one and left. Those first two days were not great. The onboarding was very weak. I didn't feel bad leaving them.
It may be good to mention early in the process (normally they will ask), that you are interviewing with other companies. Any thoughts on this?
