Hi everyone. I am just now realizing that I'm missing today's call due to a busy schedule, but I wanted to share my interview process updates. I received two interviews at the end of March and just made it to the final round at one of them. This is for a Digital Marketing Manager position.
I am looking forward to meeting my potential team, but have to admit that I'm reluctant to take the role if I receive the offer. I'm trying not to let that impede on my performance (next week Wed btw, 4/16). But here's a few things that are bothering me about this role:
- The salary range is a bit low, but I agreed to it in order to still interview. I hope to negotiate but was it wrong for me to lead them to believe I was ok with the posted range?
- I'm currently fully remote and would have to adjust to driving 3 times per week to a crowded downtown area.
- The building is beautiful (it's a performing arts space) but the admin offices are in the basement! I didn't see any windows. That was a bit of a let down.
Are these points too trivial to hold me back? Anyway, I'm moving ahead with the interview and will let things play out before making a final decision.
