CLAIM UPDATES! Wednesday 10/21/26 Devlog
A first look at flight!
Flight mechanics have been successfully deployed, and The Osprey has taken its first flight. More content on the way. Air vehicles will be an integral part of CLAIM. Used extensively in both logistics and combat. You will be able to customize your vehicles for air to air, air to ground, or logistics based. Build your blueprints in the corporate ship hanger and deploy them on the surface to aid in the Planetary Conquest efforts.
A first look at flight!
First look into NPC squad mechanics
You and two combat engineers are dropped off on an alien planet. Your first task is to clear the LZ and establish a command center to begin operations. NPC fighting mechanics are working beautifully now in the last update. Your squad will follow you and assist with mining, combat and construction. When contact is established, their first task is to shoot and move to cover. Engaging the enemy from cover is key. There are several tiers of soldiers and as you earn RP (requisition points) you will be able to purchase/call for higher tier soldiers which are more "expensive". Although you start with 2 soldiers, you will be able to have up to 12 in your squad as your squad leader abilities expand. The video shows a sample of the target acquisition and distance. you can see the ray tracing for the bullets and the damage. In the next update, ill cover the giant holes coming out of the earth and why you don't want those near you or your base. Bring explosives.
