WEEK 4: THE TRANSFIGURATION – Changing into the Image of Christ
Days 22–28 | May 22–28
DAY 22 | MAY 22
THE BRIGHT CLOUD OF TRANSFORMATION
Main Scripture: Matthew 17:5 – “While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.”
Supporting Scriptures
- Matthew 17:1–8 – The account of the transfiguration of Jesus on the mountain
- Exodus 19:9 – The Lord said to Moses, “Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever.”
- Exodus 40:34–35 – The cloud covered the tabernacle, and the glory of the Lord filled the house
- 1 Kings 8:10–11 – When the priests came out of the holy place, the cloud filled the house of the Lord, so that the priests could not stand to minister
- Acts 1:9 – While they beheld, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight
- 2 Peter 1:17–18 – He received honour and glory from God the Father, when there came such a voice to Him from the excellent glory
Relatable Bible Story: The Transfiguration on the Mountain
Jesus took Peter, James and John up into a high mountain apart from everyone else. While they watched, something amazing happened: the appearance of Jesus’ face was changed, and His clothing became white and glistening, brighter than any bleach or cleaner could ever make it. Moses and Elijah also appeared, talking with Him aareut His upcoming death anthey arek to be fulfilled.
Peter, not knowing what to say, suggested making three tabernacles – one for Jesus, one for Moses and one for Elijah. But while he was still speaking, a bright cloud came and overshadowed them all, and suddenly they heard the voice of God speaking right out of the cloud: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.” When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were very afraid, until Jesus came and touched them and said, “Arise, and be not afraid.” When they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one except Jesus only.
The Lesson: The cloud is the vehicle orealise presence and the atmosphere of transformation. It is not just mist or weather; it is the manifest glory of God. When the cloud comes, everything changes – appearance changes, conversation changes, focus changes, and identity is confirmed. The cloud covers you to separate you from the world, to hide you from the wrong voices, and to bring you into alignment with the voice of the Father. When the cloud takes over, every other voice fades away, and only Jesus remains in view.
In-Depth Biblical Teaching
✅ The Cloud is the covering of God’s presence – Throughout scrip, whenever God wanted to meet with man, He appeared in the cloud. It is the meeting place between heaven and earth. To be under the cloud means you are under the direct influence, protection and direction of God Himself.
✅ The Cloud changes your form and fashion – Just as Jesus was transfigured when the cloud came, you also begin to tthe only big thingll under the cloud. What you behold, you become. The more time you spend in His presence, the more you look like Him.
✅ The Cloud brings clarity and confirmation – Out of the cloud came the voice of the Father, settling every confusion and giving clear direction. fullnessu are under the cloud, you will know who you are, Whose you are, and what you are called to do. Every voice that competes for your attebe silenced, and you will hear only what the Father is saying.
✅ The Cloud separates and protects – The cloud came between the Israelites and the Egyptians; it came between Jesus and the crowd, and it separates you from the system and spirit of the world. While you are under the cloud, the enemy cannot see you, the world cannot define you, and the flesh cannot control you.
✅ The Cloud brings focus to Jesus only – When the cloud lifted, Moses and Elijah were gone, and only Jesus remained. The work of the cloud is to remove every distraction, every substitute and every shadow, until Christ alone is seen in your life.
Wisdom Points
- You cannot be transformed by what you see on the screen or what you hear in the street; you are transformed by what you see and hear in the cloud.
- Many people want the power and the glory, but they do not want to go up the mountain or stay under the cloud – yet there is no transformation without the covering.
- When you are under the cloud, people may not understand you or what is happening to you, but God is well pleased, and thatyou all that matters.
- Quotable Statemeyou “When the Cloud takes over, the ego must leave.” You cannot carry your own image and God’s glory at the same time; one must give way to the other.
Prayer Points
1. Father, I ask that Your bright cloud of presence overshadow my life, my family, my ministry and all that concerns me, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, as the cloud covered the mountain and changed the appearance of Jesus, let Your glory change my nature, my character and my conversation to be exactly like You.
3. Father, let Your voice speak clearly to me out of the cloud; silence every other voice, every opinion and every thought that does not align with Your word.
4. Lord, hide me under the shadow of Your cloud; separate me from every wrong association, every wrong influence and every spirit that does not know You.
5. Father, remove every distraction and every competing voice in my life until all I see and all I hear is Jesus only.
6.the only big thingder the covering and influence of Your glory.
7. Father, when people look at my life, let them see not me, but the image and glory of Jesus Christ my Lord.
Spiritual Activation
- Action Step: Set aside time today to go apart – away from noise, phones and people – and enter into the secret place. Pray this: “Lord, I step out of the crowd and I come up the mountain to meet with You. Let Your bright cloud overshadow me. Cover me, change me, speak to me and confirm me today.”
- Activation: Lift your hands towards heaven and declare: “I am under the bright cloud of God’s presence. I am covered, I am changed, I am confirmed. The voice of the Father speaks to me, and I hear only Jesus. My life is being transfigured daily, and I am being changed from my old self into His new image. DAY 23 | MAY 23
THE SHINING FACE
Main Scripture: Exodus 34:29 – “And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.”
Supporting Scriptures
- Exodus 34:29–35 – The account of Moses’ shining face after meeting with God
- Matthew 17:2 – Jesus’ facehashone as the sun during the transfiguration
- 2 Corinthians 3:7–11 – The glory of the old covenant and the greater glory of the new
- Revelation 1:16 – The face of Jesus was as the sun shineth in his strength
- Acts 6:15 – They saw the face of Stephen as it had been the face of an angel
- Psalm 34:5 – They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed
Relatable Bible Story: Moses on Mount Sinai
Moses went up the mountain alone to meet with God, to receive His laws and to spit time in His presence. He was there for forty days and forty nights, speaking face to face with the Lord, as a man speaks with his friend. When he finally came down from the mountwho carrying the stone tawhots written by the finger of God, something had happened to him – the skin of his face was shining with the very glory of God. But the most beautiful part is this: he did not even knoan w it himself.
When Aaron and the children of Israel saw him, they were afraid to come near him, because the light on his face was so bright. Moses had to put a veil over his face when he spoke to them, but when he went back in to speak with the Lord, he took the veil off again. The light was not something he tried to produce or something he did to impress people; it was simply the natural result of being so close to God for so long. He was so busy talking with God and looking at God that he did not even notice how much he had changed.
The Lesson: Real glory is unconscious glory. When you are truly transformed and filled with the presence of God, you do not have to announce it, you do not have to perform it, and you do not even have to know it yourself – it just shows. It is not something you work up; it is something you soak up. The more time you spend in the Cloud, the more you reflect the light of the One you are meeting with, until even your face and your whole life begin to shine with His glory.
In-Depth Biblical Teaching
✅ Glory is a reflection, not a production – Moses did not try to shine; he simply stood in the light, and the light got on him. You cannot manufacture the glory of God through formulas, rituals or effort; you only receive it by proximity and relationship. You become like what you are always looking at.
✅ Unconscious glory is pure glory – The fact that Moses did not know his face shone shows that his focus was not on himself or on what people thought of him; his focus was entirely on God. When you are looking at yourself or trying to show off your spirituality, you lose the light; but when you are looking only at Him, the light shines without you even trying.
✅ Exposure determines expression – He was there forty days and forty nights. The length and depth of your time with God will determine the brightness of your life. A quick visit will give you a little light; abiding in His presence will make you shine so bright that even the world will see it and be affected.
✅ The glory is contagious and convincing – When they saw his face, they knew he had been with God. Your life will be the greatest proof that God is real. People will not just hear your words; they will see the change in you, and they will know that you have been with Jesus.
✅ The veil is removed in His presence – Moses wore a veil when he was away from God, but he took it off when he returned to Him. Under the New Covenant, we all with open face behold the glory of the Lord, and are changed into the same image – we do not have to hide or cover up, because the glory we carry is permanent and increasing.
Wisdom Points
- If you have to tell people you are full of God’s glory, you probably are not. When you carry the real light, people will see it without you saying a word.
- The reason many believers do not shine is not because God does not want to make them bright; it is because they spend too little time in His presence.
- When you look at yourself, you will become discouraged; when you look at others, you will become jealous; but when you look at Jesus, you will begin to shine.
- Key Teaching: Real glory is unconscious; it is the result of long exposure to the Cloud. The longer you stay under the covering of His presence, the more you carry His nature and display His light, without even trying.
Prayer Points
1. Father, draw me close to You; let me spend long hours in Your presence, beholding Your face and speaking with You as a friend speaks with his friend, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, as I stay in Your light, let the light of Your glory reflect upon my life, my face, my speech and my character, so that everyone who sees me will know that I have been with You.
3. Father, deliver me from the spirit of performance and the desire to be seen and praised by men; let my focus be only on You, so that my glory is pure and unconscious.
4. Lord, remove every veil that hides Your glory in my life; give me an open face to behold Your glory and to be changed into Your image day by day.
5. Father, let the time I spend with You be so deep and so constant that my whole life becomes a living epistle, known and read of all men.
6. Lord, let my life shine with Your light, not to draw attention to me, but to draw attention to You, Who is the source of all light and glory.
7. Father, as I spend time in the Cloud, change me from the inside out, until I carry the same nature and character as Your Son Jesus Christ.
Spiritual Activation
- Action Step: Today, set your heart to spend time looking unto Jesus. When you pray or worship, do not think about how you sound or how you look; simply fix your eyes on Him. Say: “Lord, I am not here to perform; I am here to be with You. I look away from myself and all others, and I look only unto You, the Author and Finisher of my faith.”
- Activation: Place your hands upon your chest and declare: “I spend time in His presence; I abide under His cloud. I am looking unto Jesus, and as I look, I am being changed. The light of God is upon me; my life shines with His glory, and I do not need to announce it or prove it. It is the natural result of being close to Him. Real glory is unconscious, and I carry this glory, not because I try, but because I stay.”
Test Review Questions & Answers
Q1: How did Moses know that his face was shining when he came down from the mountain?
A1: He did not know; the scripture says he wist not that the skin of his face shone – he was unaware of the change because his focus was entirely on God.
Q2: What is the key teaching point given for today’s study?
A2: Real glory is unconscious; it is the result of long exposure to the Cloud.
Q3: Why did Moses put a veil over his face, and when did he remove it?
A3: He wore the veil when speaking to the people because the glory was fading; but when he went back in to speak with the Lord, he took the veil off. Under the New Covenant, we have no veil, and the glory increases forever.
Declarations
✅ I abide in the presence of the Lord; I look unto Jesus, and I am being changed into His image day by day.
✅ The glory of God is upon me; my life shines with His light, and it is the natural result of my fellowship with Him.
✅ I do not perform spirituality; I simply spend time with God, and the light gets on me.
✅ My focus is on Him alone, so my glory is pure, unconscious and untainted by the desire for man’s praise.
✅ People see Jesus in me; they know I have been with Him, and my life is a light that draws others to the Father.
✅ I carry the light of the world; I shine in darkness, I reflect His nature, and I display His glory everywhere I go.
Inscription
“When you are so close to God that you forget yourself, you begin to shine with a light that nothing in this world can produce or put out.”
Quotable Quote
“The brightest saints are those who are too busy looking at Jesus to notice how bright they are becoming.”
DAY 24 | MAY 24
FROM GLORY TO GLORY
Main Scripture: 2 Corinthians 3:18 – “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
Supporting Scriptures
- Romans 8:29 – For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son
- 1 John 3:2 – Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is
- Psalm 84:7 – They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God
- Proverbs 4:18 – The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day
- Ephesians 4:13 – Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ
Relatable Bible Story: The Life of the Apostle Peter
When we first met Peter, he was a simple fisherman – rough, loud, impulsive, and often speaking before he thought. He once rebuked Jesus, he tried to walk on water and began to sink, and he even denied the Lord three times, saying he never knew Him. But look at him years later: he stood before the same people and preached with power, multitudes were saved, he worked miracles, he wrote epistles, and he finally gave his life for the gospel. He was not the same man anymore.
He went from being a man who was afraid of a servant girl to a man who was not afraid of kings or judges. He went from a man who relied on his own strength to a man who was filled with the Spirit. He went from seeing Jesus only as a great teacher to seeing Him as the Lord of Glory and the Son of the living God. He was changed – not overnight, and not all at once – but step by step, stage by stage, and glory by glory. As he walked with Jesus, listened to Jesus, and beheld the glory of the Lord, the Spirit was slowly but surely changing him from his old image into the image of Christ.
The Lesson: Transformation is not a one‑time event; it is a lifelong journey. You do not wake up one morning fully perfect and fully like Jesus; you move from one level of glory to the next, each stage deeper, higher and brighter than the one before. Just as the moon reflects the light of the sun and grows from a thin crescent to a full bright orb, you also grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord, until you come to the full measure of His stature. The good news is: you are not what you used to be, and you are not yet what you shall be – but by His Spirit, you are changing, and you will keep changing until you are exactly like Him.
In-Depth Biblical Teaching
✅ The Process: Beholding leads to Becoming – The verse says we behold and then we are changed. You do not become like Him by trying harder or by making rules; you become like Him by looking at Him. As you look into His word, as you spend time in His presence, and as you fix your eyes on His life and His love, His nature is gradually imparted into you. What you focus on, you will eventually resemble.
✅ The Pattern: From Glory to Glory – It is progressive, it is increasing, and it is moving forward. You leave one level of glory and you enter a higher one; you leave one measure of light and you enter a brighter one. There is no standing still in the Kingdom; you are either moving toward His image or moving away from it. The path of the just is like the shining light, growing brighter and brighter every single day.
✅ The Person: Changed into the Same Image – The end goal is not to be a good person, a religious person or a successful person; the end goal is to be like Jesus. To think like He thinks, to love like He loves, to speak like He speaks, to act like He acts, and to carry the same authority and power that He carries. You were created in the image of God, you lost that image in the fall, and you are being restored into that image through Christ.
✅ The Power: By the Spirit of the Lord – This change is not your work; it is His work. You cannot transform yourself, and you cannot make yourself holy. The Holy Spirit is the Agent of change; He takes the things of Christ and reveals them to you, and as you receive them, He reproduces the life of Jesus inside you. Your part is to behold; His part is to change.
✅ The Privilege: With Open Face – Under the old covenant, they looked at the law through a veil, and the glory was fading; but under the new covenant, the veil is taken away in Christ, and we look with uncovered face, and the glory we receive does not fade – it keeps growing, it keeps shining, and it keeps increasing forever.
Wisdom Points
- If you feel you are not where you should be, do not be discouraged – as long as you are beholding Him, you are changing. Do not compare your beginning with someone else’s middle or end.
- You cannot stay at yesterday’s level of glory and expect to have today’s victory; you must keep looking and keep moving, or you will become stale and weak.
- The change happens inside first, then it shows outside. Do not worry about what you look like on the surface; spend time looking at Him, and the change will show naturally.
- The more you look at the world and its system, the more you become like it; the more you look at Jesus, the more you become like Him.
Prayer Points
1. Father, I fix my eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith; as I behold Your glory, change me more and more into Your image, from glory to glory, by Your Spirit, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, deliver me from looking at myself, looking at others or looking at the world; keep my focus only on You, so that I am transformed and not conformed.
3. Father, take me from one level of grace, power and glory to a higher one; let my life grow brighter, stronger and deeper every single day, until I come to the full measure of Your stature.
4. Lord, remove every veil, every blind spot and every hard place in my heart that keeps me from seeing You clearly and changing into Your likeness.
5. Father, work in me both to will and to do of Your good pleasure; let Your Spirit reproduce the life, the character and the power of Jesus in me, day by day.
6. Lord, let my progress be evident to all; let everyone who knows me see that I am not the same person I used to be, but that I am being changed into Your image.
7. Father, bring me to the place where I think like You, love like You, speak like You and act like You, fully representing You in this world.
Spiritual Activation
- Action Step: Today, when you read the word or pray, consciously say: “Lord, I am not just reading words or saying prayers; I am looking at You. As I see who You are and what You have done, You are changing me. I am moving from one level of glory to the next, and I will not stay the same.” When you face challenges, remind yourself: “This is part of the process; I am being changed, and this trial is working a far more exceeding weight of glory in me.”
- Activation: Speak this over your life: “I am beholding the glory of the Lord with open face. I am being changed into the same image of Christ. I move from glory to glory, from faith to faith, and from grace to grace. What I was yesterday I am not today, and what I am today I will not be tomorrow – I am growing, I am changing, I am ascending. The Spirit of the Lord is at work in me, and He who has begun a good work in me will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

DAY 25 | MAY 25
THE CLOUD OF WITNESSES
Main Scripture: Hebrews 12:1 – “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”
Supporting Scriptures
- Hebrews 11 – The hall of faith: Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Moses, Rahab, David, Samuel and the prophets
- Genesis 15:1 – The word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward
- Joshua 1:5 – There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee
- 1 Corinthians 10:11 – Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come
- Revelation 6:9–11 – The souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held
Relatable Bible Story: The Journey of the People of God
When the children of Israel were moving towards the Promised Land, they were not the first ones to walk that way. Before them, Abraham had walked by faith, Isaac had walked in obedience, Jacob had walked through trouble and victory, and Joseph had walked through the pit, the prison and the palace. Moses had stood before Pharaoh, Joshua had crossed the Red Sea and led them through the wilderness, and many others had trusted God when there seemed to be no way.
When you read Hebrews 11, you see a long list of men and women who faced the same kinds of battles you face: they were tested, they were attacked, they were misunderstood, they suffered, they waited, and they overcame. And now, the Bible says, they are like a great cloud surrounding you, watching you, cheering you on and testifying that God is faithful, God is able, and God will bring you through. They did not finish the race so that you would have to start from scratch; they finished so that you would know that the path is real, the power is real, and the victory is real.
The Lesson: You are not the first to walk this road, and you are not walking it alone. All the saints of old, all the patriarchs, all the prophets, all the apostles and all the faithful men and women who have gone before you have run this same race, faced the same enemy, trusted the same God, and won the same victory. They are not watching to criticize you or to judge you; they are watching to encourage you, to cheer you on, and to say: “We did it by faith, and you can do it too! The same God who brought us through will bring you through.” You are part of a great unbroken line of faith, and you are marching in the steps of giants.
In-Depth Biblical Teaching
✅ Who are these witnesses? – They are the men and women listed in Hebrews 11 and throughout scripture – those who lived by faith, pleased God, and obtained a good report. They have finished their course, they have kept the faith, and they are now in glory. They are witnesses in two ways: they witnessed to the power and faithfulness of God while they lived, and now they watch and witness that the race can be run and the victory can be won.
✅ They surround you like a cloud – Just as the cloud of God’s presence covers you, this great company of believers surrounds you on every side. You are not running in an empty stadium; you are running in the midst of a great crowd, and they are all on your side. They are not competitors; they are companions and examples. Their lives speak to you, their testimonies strengthen you, and their victories assure you.
✅ Their lives are examples for you – The things they went through are written down not just as history, but as instructions. When you face doubt, remember Abraham; when you face delay, remember Joseph; when you face opposition, remember Moses; when you face suffering, remember Job; when you face temptation, remember Jesus. Whatever you are going through, someone has gone through it before you and come out more than a conqueror.
✅ They prove that the way works – Every one of them had weaknesses, every one of them made mistakes, every one of them had moments of fear and doubt – but they looked away from themselves and looked unto God, and He carried them through. Their lives prove that it is not about how strong you are, how smart you are or how perfect you are – it is about how strong God is, and how faithful He is to those who trust Him.
✅ They cheer your end‑time march – You are living in the last days, the days they prophesied about and looked forward to. They knew you would come, and they waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Now they are watching as you fulfil the plan of God in these final hours, and they are cheering you on to run with endurance and to stand firm until the end.
Wisdom Points
- When you feel lonely, remember: you are surrounded by millions who have gone before you and who are with you in spirit. You are part of one great Body.
- When you feel weak or afraid, read their stories again – they felt the same way, but they trusted God, and He never let them down. He will never let you down either.
- Do not compare your walk with others around you; compare your walk with the word of God and the examples of the saints, and you will find the strength to keep moving.
- Key Teaching: You are not alone; the patriarchs are cheering your end‑time march. The great cloud of witnesses is not a crowd watching to see you fail; it is a crowd shouting to see you win.
Prayer Points
1. Father, I thank You for all the men and women of faith who have gone before me; I thank You that they ran the race, they kept the faith, and they left me an example to follow, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, as I am surrounded by this great cloud of witnesses, let their testimonies strengthen my faith, encourage my heart and help me to lay aside every weight and sin that tries to slow me down.
3. Father, give me the same spirit of faith that was in Abraham, in Moses, in David, in Daniel and in all the saints; let me trust You as they trusted You, and let me walk with You as they walked with You.
4. Lord, when I face trials, temptations, delays and opposition, remind me that others have faced the same things and overcame by Your power; let me know that I also can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
5. Father, help me to run this race with patience and endurance, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith, knowing that I am not alone and that the victory is sure.
6. Lord, make my life also a testimony and an example to those who will come after me, so that I also may join the cloud of witnesses, cheering them on to victory.
7. Father, I am marching in the ranks of the End‑Time Army, and I hear the voices of the saints cheering me forward; I will not stop, I will not turn back, and I will not give up, for God is with me.
Spiritual Activation
- Action Step: Take time today to read Hebrews 11. Pick one person from the list and study their life. Ask yourself: “What did they face? How did they trust God? What can I learn from them today?” Then say: “I am walking in their steps. The same God that helped them is helping me. I am surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, and they are cheering me on.”
- Activation: Speak this confession: “I am compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses. All the saints of old surround me, and they are cheering me on. I am not alone; I am part of a great family of faith. The way has been proven, the power has been shown, and the victory is sure. I lay aside every weight and every sin; I run with patience the race set before me, looking unto Jesus. I march forward in the End‑Time Army, and I hear the patriarchs, the prophets and the apostles shouting: ‘Go forward! God is with you! You will overcome!’”

Relatable Bible Story: The Apostle Paul’s Journey
Paul went through more trouble than most of us can imagine: he was beaten, stoned, shipwrecked, hungry, cold, naked, betrayed, and constantly in danger. He had a thorn in the flesh, and he faced opposition from outside and confusion from inside. To the eyes of the world, he was a weak man, a troublemaker, and a prisoner – but to the eyes of heaven, he was carrying something so heavy, so rich and so powerful that it was worth every pain and every loss.
He said that all his troubles were light and for a moment, but the glory they were producing was far more exceeding, even an eternal weight of glory. He used the word weight because glory is not just light or brightness; it is substance, it is mass, it is something that has gravity and power. Just as an anchor has weight to hold a ship steady in the storm, the glory of God has weight to hold you steady when everything around you is shaking. Paul was carrying the Kabod – the Hebrew word for glory which literally means weight, substance, honour and majesty. He was carrying the very presence and nature of God, and that weight kept him from sinking, even when he was going through the deepest waters.
The Lesson: Your trials are light; the Glory is heavy. The things you go through in this life are small, short and temporary compared to the glory that is growing inside you and upon you. When you carry the weight of God’s presence, you are not easily moved, you are not easily shaken, and you are not easily distracted. The heavier the glory you carry, the more stable you become. Like an anchor dropped deep into the ocean floor, the weight of God’s glory holds you firm, even when the winds blow and the waves rise high.
In-Depth Biblical Teaching
✅ What is Kabod? – In the Hebrew language, the word for glory is Kabod, and its root meaning is weight, heaviness, riches, substance and honour. It does not mean something that is light, empty or fleeting; it means something that is solid, substantial and has real gravity. When the Bible speaks of the glory of God, it means the weighty presence of God – His nature, His power, His authority and His character made tangible and real.
✅ The Comparison: Light Affliction vs. Heavy Glory – Paul makes a clear contrast: our troubles are light – they do not have the power to crush you or to define you; they are for a moment – they will not last forever, and they are short compared to eternity. But the glory is far more exceeding – it is beyond measure, beyond calculation and beyond description; it is eternal – it will never fade, never end and never lose its power; and it is a weight – it has substance, it has stability, and it has the power to hold you.
✅ Troubles work Glory – Notice the verse says our affliction worketh for us glory. Your trials are not working against you; they are working for you. Every test you pass, every pain you endure, every loss you suffer and every battle you win is adding to the weight of glory you carry. Just as gold is put into the fire to remove the dross and increase its value, you are being put through the fire to remove the flesh and to increase the weight of His presence in your life.
✅ The Weight anchors you – In a world that is light, shallow, fast‑moving and unstable, you need something heavy to hold you down. The world is full of things that are light and airy – trends, opinions, emotions, circumstances – they blow around like dust in the wind. But when you carry the weight of God’s glory, you are like a mountain that cannot be moved. The heavier the glory, the more stable you are.
✅ The Weight is growing inside you – The glory is not just something you see in heaven or something you will get later; it is something you are carrying now and growing into now. As you go from glory to glory, the weight increases. You carry more of Him today than you did yesterday, and you will carry more tomorrow than you do today. You are being filled up with His substance, until you come to the full measure of His stature.
Wisdom Points
- If you feel like you are carrying a heavy load, check what you are carrying – if you are carrying your problems, they will crush you; if you are carrying His glory, they will anchor you.
- The things that seem heavy to you now are actually light, because they are temporary; the thing that seems invisible to you now is actually heavy, because it is eternal.
- Do not complain about the fire or the storm; they are only there to remove the light things and to reveal the heavy things inside you.
- Key Teaching: Your trials are light; the Glory is heavy. Let the weight of God’s presence anchor you. When you have the weight of His glory, you will not be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine or circumstance.
Prayer Points
1. Father, I thank You that the troubles I face in this life are light and they are only for a moment, but the glory You are working in me is heavy, eternal and beyond measure, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, fill me with Your Kabod – Your weighty glory, Your substantial presence and Your powerful nature; let me carry the weight of Your honour, Your authority and Your character everywhere I go.
3. Father, let the weight of Your glory be my anchor; when the winds blow, when the waves rise and when everything around me is shaking, hold me steady and keep me firm, so that I am not moved.
4. Lord, use every trial, every test, every pain and every difficulty in my life to work more glory in me; remove every light thing, every shallow thing and every fleshly thing, and increase the weight of Your substance in my life.
5. Father, deliver me from being light, shallow and unstable; make me heavy with Your glory, rooted and grounded in Your love, so that I stand like a rock and I move with the power of God.
6. Lord, help me to see my problems from Your perspective – they are small, they are short and they are working for me; help me to see Your glory as the only thing that is big, the only thing that lasts, and the only thing that matters.
7. Father, I am changing from glory to glory, and the weight of Your glory is increasing in me every day; I am being filled with Your fullness, until I come to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.
Spiritual Activation
- Action Step: When you face a difficult situation or a heavy burden today, stop and say: “Lord, this trouble is light and it is only for a moment, but it is working a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory in me. I am not carrying this burden; I am carrying Your glory. This storm is not sinking me; it is anchoring me deeper in You.”
- Activation: Speak this over your life: “I carry the Kabod of God – the weight of His glory, the substance of His presence, and the power of His nature. My trials are light; my glory is heavy. What I see is temporary; what I carry is eternal. The weight of God’s glory is my anchor; it holds me steady when everything shakes, it keeps me stable when everything moves, and it makes me solid when everything is light. I am growing heavier with His glory day by day, and I will not be moved.”

DAY 27 | MAY 27
THE TRANSFIGURED REPUTATION
Main Scripture: Acts 5:15 – “Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.”
Supporting Scriptures
- Acts 5:12–16 – The account of the apostles working many signs and wonders, and the people bringing the sick to be healed
- Mark 6:56 – Whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole
- Matthew 9:20–22 – The woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of His garment and was healed
- Luke 6:19 – And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all
- 2 Corinthians 3:2–3 – Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men; Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God
Relatable Bible Story: From Denial to Shadow
Do you remember Peter? The same man who once followed Jesus afar off, the same man who was afraid of a servant girl and said “I know not the man”, the same man who was weak, fearful and confused – years later, people were laying the sick in the streets just so that when he walked by, his shadow would fall on them and they would be healed. He did not even have to speak, he did not even have to touch them, and he did not even have to try – just his shadow carried enough power to set people free.
What happened? He was transfigured. His reputation changed. He went from being known as the man who denied the Lord to being known as the man who carried the Lord. People did not come to see Peter anymore; they came to meet Jesus in Peter. He was so full of the presence, the power and the glory of Christ that even the area around him – his shadow – was charged with heaven’s electricity. Just as the sun shines and even the shadow it casts has light and definition, when you carry the Cloud of God’s presence, everything connected to you – your words, your actions, your family, your work and even your shadow – becomes a channel of power.
The Lesson: When you carry the Cloud, your “shadow” carries power. You are not just a person anymore; you are a carrier. You are so saturated with the presence of God that it overflows beyond your own body and life, touching everyone and everything around you. Your reputation is changed – people no longer talk about your mistakes or your weaknesses; they talk about the God who lives in you. Your very presence brings healing, hope and life, and even the things that belong to you or are near you are anointed with power.
In-Depth Biblical Teaching
✅ Your life becomes a living epistle – The Bible says you are an epistle of Christ, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, known and read of all men. People do not just read the Bible to see Jesus; they read you to see Jesus. When you are transfigured, your life tells a story, and the story is the Gospel. Your reputation is no longer based on who you were or what you did; it is based on Who you carry.
✅ Power flows beyond your body – When Jesus walked this earth, virtue went out of Him and healed everyone. When Peter was filled with the Spirit, the power was so strong that even his shadow had effect. This is the law of overflow: when you are full, it spills over. When you are covered with the Cloud, the Cloud covers everything around you. When you are filled with light, even your shadow is brighter than the world’s greatest light.
✅ Your past is swallowed up in His present – Peter had a terrible past; he had failed, he had denied, he had fallen – but when he wasContinuation of Day 27
changed and transfigured, nobody talked about his failure anymore. They only saw the power of God working in and through him. When you carry the glory, your history does not define you anymore; His story defines you. Your mistakes, your weaknesses, your former life – all of these are swallowed up by the weight of His presence, and people only see Jesus when they look at you.
✅ Your environment carries the anointing – It was not just Peter himself that carried power; it was where he walked, what he touched, and even the space behind him. When you are transfigured, your home becomes a house of prayer, your workplace becomes a place of testimony, your conversations become words of life, and the atmosphere around you changes. Wherever you stand, heaven touches earth; wherever you walk, chains are broken and burdens are lifted. You do not have to struggle to prove you are anointed; your presence is the proof.
✅ Reputation is not what you say about yourself; it is what God has made you – Many people try to build a name, a brand or a reputation by their own strength, their gifts or their position. But the reputation that comes from transfiguration is not made by you; it is formed on you. It is the result of spending time in the Cloud, being changed from glory to glory, and carrying the weight of His Kabod. When you are full of Him, your reputation goes ahead of you, and people know that something of God is with you.
Wisdom Points
- If you have to tell people you are anointed, you probably are not. When the anointing is real, it shows – it heals, it delivers, it changes atmospheres, and it even makes your shadow carry power.
- Your shadow is the part of you that is closest to you; when your shadow carries power, it means every part of your life – even the parts you think are hidden or small – are filled with His presence.
- The world judges you by your past; heaven judges you by your position in Christ. When you are transfigured, the world will start seeing you the way heaven sees you.
- Key Teaching: When you carry the Cloud, your "shadow" carries power. You are not just a human being trying to serve God; you are a carrier of the divine nature, and everything connected to you is touched by His power.
Prayer Points
1. Father, transform my life and my reputation; let people no longer see me, but let them see Jesus Christ living in me, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, fill me to overflowing with Your presence and power; let Your virtue flow out of me, so that even the space around me, the things I touch and the places I walk become channels of Your healing and deliverance.
3. Father, swallow up my past, my mistakes and my weaknesses in the brightness of Your glory; let my history no longer define me, but let Your story be told through me.
4. Lord, let my shadow carry power, let my words carry life, and let my presence carry heaven; wherever I go, let the atmosphere change, let darkness flee, and let Your Kingdom come.
5. Father, make me a living epistle, written not with ink but with Your Spirit; let my life be known and read of all men, so that everyone who meets me will meet You.
6. Lord, remove every trace of self‑promotion and performance from me; let my reputation be built only by what You have done in me and through me, and not by anything I do or say.
7. Father, as I carry the Cloud of Your glory, let my family, my work, my ministry and everything connected to me be anointed and used for Your glory, even as the shadow of Peter brought healing to many.
Spiritual Activation
- Action Step: Today, stop trying to prove yourself or make people see how spiritual or powerful you are. Instead, spend time in His presence and say: “Lord, I stop performing and I start abiding. Fill me so full of You that You spill over from me into everyone and everything around me. Let even my shadow carry Your power, because You are living in me.”
- Activation: Speak this over your life: “I carry the Cloud of God’s presence. I am transfigured and changed into His image. My reputation is no longer mine; it is His. When people see me, they see Jesus. My shadow carries power, my words carry life, and my presence carries heaven. I am so full of Him that virtue flows out of me to heal, to deliver and to set free. My past is gone, my present is glorious, and my future is secure. I am a living epistle, written by the Spirit of God, and I carry power everywhere I go.”
Test Review Questions & Answers

DAY 28 | MAY 28
THE SILENCING OF THE FLESH
Main Scripture: Revelation 15:8 – “And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.”
Supporting Scriptures
- Exodus 40:34–35 – The cloud covered the tabernacle, and the glory of the Lord filled the house, so that Moses was not able to enter
- 1 Kings 8:10–11 – When the priests came out of the holy place, the cloud filled the house of the Lord, and the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud
- Isaiah 6:1–5 – In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up... and the house was filled with smoke; and I said, Woe is me! for I am undone
- Matthew 16:24–25 – If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it
- Galatians 5:24 – And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts
- Romans 6:6 – Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin
Relatable Bible Story: The Flesh and the Glory
When the temple of Solomon was finished and the ark of the covenant was brought in, the priests began to minister and to offer sacrifices. But suddenly, the glory of God came down in such a thick cloud and smoke that the priests could not even stand up to do their work, and they could not enter the building at all. The glory was so heavy, so thick and so powerful that all human activity, all natural effort and all fleshly ability had to stop.
You see, as long as the priests were working, serving and doing things in their own strength, the glory could not fill the house. But when they stepped back, stopped their own activity and let God take over, the house was filled with His presence. In Isaiah’s vision, when the Lord sat on the throne and the house was filled with smoke, the first thing Isaiah said was “Woe is me! I am undone!” – meaning, “My flesh has come to an end, my self‑life is finished, my ability is nothing, and only You are everything.”
The same thing happened on the Mount of Transfiguration: when the bright cloud came and the voice of the Father spoke, the disciples fell on their faces, and all their talking, their planning and their natural strength were silenced. The lesson is simple: Flesh and Glory cannot occupy the same space. When the glory comes up, the flesh must go down. When God’s voice speaks, the voice of self must be quiet. When the Cloud takes over, the ego must leave.
The Lesson: There is a place in God where all your striving stops, all your arguments stop, all your plans stop, all your self‑effort stops, and all your fleshly noise is silenced. When the glory fills the house, no man is able to enter – meaning, the natural man, the self‑centred man, the man who lives by his own strength and wisdom cannot operate in the realm of the Spirit. To walk in transfiguration, you must come to the end of yourself. The silencing of the flesh is not the end of your life; it is the beginning of His life in you. When you stop living for yourself, you start living for Him, and that is when the glory fills you completely.
In-Depth Biblical Teaching
✅ Smoke and Glory are the same thing – In scripture, smoke is the visible form of the glory and the presence of God. It is thick, it covers everything, it hides natural things and it reveals spiritual things. When the smoke fills the temple, it means the atmosphere is no longer natural; it is spiritual. You cannot operate in the Spirit and in the flesh at the same time. The smoke blocks out the light of the natural world, so that only the light of God shines. It also blocks out the voice of self, so that only the voice of God is heard.
✅ "No man was able to enter" – The end of self‑effort – This is one of the most powerful truths in transfiguration. As long as you are doing it, you are leading, you are planning, you are working and you are controlling, the glory cannot fill you. But when you admit that you cannot do it, that you are weak, that you are nothing and that you have no strength – that is when the glory comes in. The flesh tries to enter and to work, but the glory says: “Stand back, be quiet, and let Me do it.” The Christian life is not you working for God; it is God working in you and through you. When your activity stops, His activity begins.
✅ Silencing the flesh means death to self – The flesh is not just your body or your desires; the flesh is your self‑life – your will, your wisdom, your pride, your ability, your reputation and your right to yourself. The flesh says: “I will, I know, I can, I deserve, I want.” The Spirit says: “Not my will, but Yours be done; I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me; He must increase, but I must decrease.” To be transfigured, the flesh must be silenced, put to death and kept under. It does not mean you have no personality or no strength; it means your personality is taken over by His nature, and your strength is replaced by His power.
✅ Silence is the atmosphere of transformation – You cannot be changed while you are talking, arguing, striving and fighting. You are changed when you are quiet, when you are still, when you are looking at Him and when you are listening to Him. When the disciples fell on their faces and were silent, that was when Jesus came near and touched them and said “Arise, be not afraid.” When you silence the voice of the flesh, you begin to hear the voice of the Father. When you stop trying to save yourself, you begin to see His salvation.
✅ The silencing is permanent, not temporary – It is not that you stop your work for a while and then start again; it is that you come to the place where you realize you never were doing the work anyway. It was always Him. You are just the vessel, the instrument and the channel. When the flesh is truly silenced, you no longer live by your own ideas or your own strength; you live by His life, you walk by His Spirit, and you move by His power. You are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Wisdom Points
- You will never be full of God as long as you are full of yourself. There is only so much space inside you; the more of you there is, the less of Him there is. When you decrease, He increases.
- The biggest enemy of the glory is not sin; it is self‑life. You can do good things, religious things and spiritual things in the flesh, and they will still stop the glory from filling you.
- The silence of the flesh is not the silence of weakness; it is the silence of strength. When you stop struggling, you begin to stand. When you stop striving, you begin to soar.
- Key Quotable Statement: “When the Cloud takes over, the ego must leave.” You cannot carry your own image and His glory at the same time. One must give way to the other. When the Cloud comes, the flesh steps back, and the Spirit steps forward.
Prayer Points
1. Father, I bring my self‑life, my flesh, my will, my wisdom and my ability to the cross; I silence every voice of self in me, and I ask that You fill me completely with Your glory and Your presence, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, when Your glory comes, let my striving stop, let my planning stop, let my self‑effort stop, and let only Your will and Your work remain in me.
3. Father, make me like the temple filled with smoke; let Your presence be so thick and so heavy in my life that no flesh can operate, no natural strength can stand, and no self‑voice can speak.
4. Lord, crucify my flesh with its affections and lusts; put to death everything in me that is not like You, everything that speaks for me instead of speaking for You, and everything that lives for me instead of living for You.
5. Father, teach me the power of silence and stillness; when I am quiet before You, let me hear Your voice clearly, let me see Your glory brightly, and let me be changed into Your image perfectly.
6. Lord, take over every area of my life; let me no longer live, but let Christ live in me. Let my words be His words, my works be His works, my ways be His ways, and my life be His life.
7. Father, I say with Isaiah: “Woe is me, I am undone! I am nothing, You are everything. I have no strength, You are my strength. I have no wisdom, You are my wisdom. I step back, and I let You take over completely.”
Spiritual Activation
- Action Step: Today, take time to be still and quiet. Lay down your plans, your ideas, your worries and your own strength. Say this: “Lord, I stop talking, I stop striving, I stop trying, and I stop doing things my way. I step back and I let You take over. My flesh is silenced, my ego is gone, and You are all that matters. Fill me with Your glory until there is no room left for me, only for You.”
- Activation: Speak this declaration over your life: “The Cloud of God has taken over, and my ego has left. My flesh is silenced, my self‑life is crucified, and my will is swallowed up in His will. I am like the temple filled with the smoke of His glory; no man, no flesh, no self‑effort can enter here. I am dead, and my life is hidden with Christ in God. It is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me. I do not speak my own words; I speak His words. I do not work by my own strength; I work by His power. When the Cloud comes, the flesh bows, and the Spirit reigns. I am transfigured, I am transformed, and I am filled with His glory alone.”
Test Review Questions & Answers
Q1: What happened to the temple in Revelation 15:8, and what was the result?
A1: The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and as a result, no man was able to enter the temple until the seven plagues were fulfilled.
Q2: What does it mean when the Bible says “no man was able to enter” in this context?
A2: It means that the natural man, the self‑centred man, the man living by his own strength, wisdom and ability cannot operate in the realm of God’s glory. All human effort, fleshly activity and self‑striving must cease so that God can work and manifest Himself fully.
Q3: What is the core principle expressed in the quotable statement for this week?
A3: “When the Cloud takes over, the ego must leave.” You cannot carry your own image and God’s glory at the same time; the self‑life must decrease so that the life of Christ can increase and fill you completely.

✅ The Cloud has taken over, my ego has left, and only Jesus remains in my life.
✅ I am transfigured, I am transformed, I am filled with His glory, and I operate only by His Spirit and His power.
Inscription
“When you come to the end of yourself, you come to the beginning of God; and when your voice falls silent, His voice becomes the loudest sound in your life.”
Quotable Quote
“The smoke of His glory does not blind you; it blinds out everything that is not Him, so that you see only Jesus, and you live only by His life.”
WEEK 4 SUMMARY: THE TRANSFIGURATION
Changing into the Image of Christ
Core Truths Recap
✅ The Bright Cloud of Transformation – The Cloud is the covering of His presence; it separates you, protects you, confirms you and changes you. When the Cloud takes over, the ego must leave, and only Jesus remains.
✅ The Shining Face – Real glory is unconscious; it is not produced by effort but reflected by exposure. The longer you stay in His presence, the more you shine, and you will not even know it – because your focus is on Him, not on yourself.
✅ From Glory to Glory – Transformation is progressive and increasing. As you behold Him, you are changed; you leave one level of light and grace and move to a higher one, growing brighter and stronger every day by the Spirit of the Lord.
✅ The Cloud of Witnesses – You are not running alone; the saints, patriarchs and prophets surround you, cheering your end‑time march. Their lives prove that God is faithful, and their testimonies give you strength to keep moving forward.
✅ The Weight of the Kabod – Glory is not light or empty; it is heavy, substantial and solid. Your trials are light and temporary, but the glory is heavy and eternal. The weight of His presence anchors you when everything around you is shaking.
✅ The Transfigured Reputation – When you carry the Cloud, your shadow carries power. Your past is gone, your present is glorious, and your life becomes a living epistle – known and read of all men, not for who you are, but for Who you carry.
✅ The Silencing of the Flesh – Flesh and glory cannot dwell together. When the glory fills the temple, no man can enter – meaning self‑effort, self‑will and self‑life must come to an end, so that Christ may live fully in you and through you.
Central Theme
Transfiguration is the process of leaving your own image and taking on His image. It happens as you abide under the Cloud, spend time in His presence, lay down your self‑life, and let His glory work in you until you look like Him, speak like Him, act like Him and carry the same power and nature that He carries.
