- Leviticus 9:24 – Fire from the Lord consumed the offering at the dedication of the tabernacle
- Acts 2:3–4 – Tongues of fire appeared and rested on each of them, and they were filled with the Holy Spirit

- Hebrews 12:29 – Our God is a consuming fire
Relatable Bible Story: Elijah on Mount Carmel
The people of Israel had wavered between worshipping the Lord and serving Baal for years. There was confusion, compromise, and spiritual drought. Elijah stood alone against 450 prophets of Baal and called the nation to make a choice: “If the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him.”
Both sides prepared their sacrifices and laid them on wood, but they put no fire. The prophets of Baal cried out, danced, and cut themselves from morning until noon, but there was no voice, no answer, and no fire. When it was Elijah’s turn, he did something even more remarkable: he had them pour twelve barrels of water over the sacrifice, the wood, the stones, and the ground, filling the trench with water. He was making it clear that when the answer came, it could never be explained by human effort, coincidence, or natural means.
Then Elijah prayed a simple, humble prayer: “Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.”
Immediately, the fire of the Lord fell and consumed everything—sacrifice, wood, stones, dust, and even the water. When the people saw it, they fell on their faces and cried, “The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God.”
The Lesson: The fire of God is heaven’s “AMEN” to your prayers. It is the proof that God has heard, He has accepted, and He is moving on your behalf. It does not matter how impossible the situation looks, how much water has been poured over your dreams, or how many voices are speaking against you—when the fire of God falls, every doubt is silenced, every enemy is defeated, and every heart is turned back to Him.
In-Depth Biblical Teaching
✅ Fire is the signature of God’s presence and approval – Whenever God wants to show He is near and that He accepts what is offered to Him, fire appears. It marked the beginning of the priesthood, the birth of the church, and the establishment of God’s covenant with His people.
✅ Fire consumes what belongs to the world and preserves what belongs to God – It burns up the works of darkness, the flesh, sin, and everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, but it refines, strengthens, and empowers the spirit of the believer.
✅ Fire comes when there is wholehearted surrender – Elijah did not hold anything back; he gave himself, his message, and his situation completely to God. Fire does not fall on divided hearts or half-hearted service; it falls on lives laid fully upon the altar.
✅ Fire produces testimony and revival – The falling of fire was not just for Elijah’s benefit; it was for the entire nation. When God’s fire moves in your life, it is not just for you—it is to bring many others out of confusion and into the light of God’s truth.
Wisdom Points
- You cannot have the fire of God while holding on to the things of the world. The altar requires total surrender.
- Delay does not mean denial. The prophets of Baal cried all day with no answer; Elijah prayed once and the fire fell. God’s timing is always perfect.
- When you carry the fire of God, you become unignorable. Your life will stand out, and people will know that God is real and that you serve Him.
- The fire that answers is also the fire that protects and purifies—one manifestation of God’s nature works in many ways.
Prayer Points
1. Father, let Your fire fall upon my life, my family, my ministry, and all that concerns me, as it fell on Mount Carmel, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, consume every spirit of doubt, compromise, and confusion in my heart and in my environment with Your holy fire.
3. Father, let every sacrifice I have laid upon Your altar—my time, my resources, my gifts, and my future—be accepted and consumed by Your fire.
4. Let Your fire silence every voice speaking against me, every power working against my destiny, and every plan of the enemy fashioned to stop me.
5. Lord, ignite Your fire within me, so that Your word burns in my bones and I can no longer hold back from declaring Your truth.
6. Father, use my life and my testimony to bring revival, salvation, and restoration to everyone around me, as You did through Elijah.
7. Let the fire of Your presence go before me, make every crooked path straight, and prepare the way for Your glory to be revealed in my life.

DAY 19 | MAY 19
THE WALL OF FIRE
Main Scripture: Zechariah 2:5 – “For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.”
Supporting Scriptures
- Exodus 14:19–20 – The pillar of cloud and fire stood between the Israelites and the Egyptians, bringing light and protection
- Psalm 46:1 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble

- Isaiah 54:17 – No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper
- Revelation 21:10–12 – The holy city had a great and high wall, garnished with all manner of precious stones
Relatable Bible Story: The People Returning to Jerusalem
After many years of exile, the people of Israel were returning home to rebuild the city of Jerusalem and the house of God. They were few in number, they were weak, and they were surrounded by nations that hated them and wanted to stop the work of God. Enemies came to threaten them, to discourage them, and to fight against them. Humanly speaking, they had no army, no walls, and no power to defend themselves.
But God spoke through the prophet Zechariah and gave them this wonderful promise: “I will be unto her a wall of fire round about.” They did not need to build walls of stone first; they had the Lord Himself as their protection. This wall was not made by human hands; it was made of the very nature of God—fire. Any enemy that tried to come near would be consumed by the fire, and anyone inside would be safe and warm in the light of God’s presence. And not only was God their protection, but He was also their glory—living right in the midst of them, leading them, providing for them, and filling them with His beauty and power.
Because they had this promise, they were able to continue building, even when people opposed them. They knew that the one who was with them was greater than all those who were against them. The wall of fire was their security, their strength, and their assurance that God was with them to perform all that He had spoken.
The Lesson: You do not need to defend yourself, and you do not need to rely on your own strength or resources. When you belong to God, He Himself becomes your protection. The same fire that answers prayer is the same fire that forms a wall around you. It keeps every evil thing out and keeps you safe in the centre of His love and power. No power of hell, no scheme of man, and no circumstance of life can break through the wall of fire that the Lord has placed around you.
In-Depth Biblical Teaching
✅ The Wall of Fire is God Himself – It is not something God does; it is who He is. He does not just send protection; He becomes your protection. When He says He is a wall of fire round about you, it means His very presence surrounds you, and everything that touches you touches Him first.
✅ The Wall has two sides – To those outside who mean harm, it is a consuming fire that burns up every weapon, every plan, and every power of darkness. To you who are inside, it is light, warmth, and glory—bringing guidance, peace, and the manifest presence of God.
✅ The Wall is round about you – everywhere you are – It is not just when you are in church or when you are praying; it surrounds you when you go out and when you come in, when you sleep and when you wake, when you are at home and when you are travelling. There is no gap, no weak spot, and no place where you are unprotected.
✅ The Wall comes with the Glory within – God does not just protect you from the outside; He fills you from the inside. While He forms the wall around you, He also dwells in the midst of you, so you are not just protected, you are also empowered, enlightened, and filled with His glory.
✅ The Wall stands forever – It is not temporary, and it does not break or wear out. It stands as long as God stands, and it protects you as long as you abide in Him.
Wisdom Points
- Your security is not in your job, your money, your position, or your connections; your security is in the Lord who is your wall of fire.
- When you are surrounded by God, you can face any opposition with confidence, because the battle is not yours, it is the Lord’s.
- The same fire that keeps the enemy out also keeps you from being harmed by the world, the flesh, and the devil.
- To live outside the covering of God is to live without protection; to abide in Him is to dwell behind an impenetrable wall.
Prayer Points
1. Father, I thank You because You are my wall of fire round about me, my family, my home, my ministry, and all that belongs to me, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, let every power of darkness, every evil plan, every weapon formed against me, and every tongue that rises against me be consumed by Your wall of fire.
3. Father, close every gap, every opening, and every access the enemy has tried to create around my life; let Your fire fill every space and keep me safe.
4. Lord, as You are round about me, let Your glory also fill me, so that I am not only protected but also empowered and transformed by Your presence.
5. Father, let me live every day with the consciousness that You are with me and round about me, so that I walk in peace, confidence, and victory at all times.
6. Lord, let Your wall of fire go before me and make every enemy that rises against me to turn back in confusion and defeat.
7. Father, keep me abiding in You, so that I remain within Your covering and no evil shall befall me, neither shall any plague come near my dwelling.

DAY 20 | MAY 20
THE PURIFYING COAL
Main Scripture: Isaiah 6:6 – “Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.”
Supporting Scriptures
- Isaiah 6:1–8 – The vision of Isaiah in the temple and his call to ministry
- Jeremiah 23:29 – Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
- Psalm 12:6 – The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times
- Matthew 3:11 – He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire
- 1 Peter 1:7 – That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ
Relatable Bible Story: Isaiah’s Vision and Call
Isaiah was a prophet who loved the Lord, but when he saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filling the temple, and the seraphims crying “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory,” something happened inside him. Suddenly, he saw himself clearly—not as a good man or a faithful prophet, but as a man with unclean lips, living among a people with unclean lips. He cried out, “Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.”
He realized that no matter how much he tried to speak for God, his words would never be right, his message would never be pure, and his ministry would never be effective as long as there was sin, impurity, and flesh in his life. But right at the point of his confession, one of the seraphim flew to him with a live coal taken from the altar—the very place where sacrifices were offered and where the fire of God burned. The angel touched his mouth with the coal and said, “Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.”
Immediately, Isaiah was not only forgiven; he was purified, prepared, and empowered. And when the Lord asked, “Who shall I send, and who will go for us?” Isaiah was able to say, “Here am I; send me.”
The Lesson: The fire of God does more than answer prayer and build a wall around you; it also works inside you. The purifying coal comes from the same altar where the sacrifice is made and where the fire falls. It touches your heart, your mind, your tongue, and your nature to remove everything that does not look like Christ, everything that does not sound like His word, and everything that does not lead people to Him. Before you can speak for the King, you must be touched by the fire of the King. Before you can carry His message, you must be purified by His nature.
In-Depth Biblical Teaching
✅ The Coal comes from the Altar – There is no purification without the altar. The altar represents surrender, sacrifice, and the work of Jesus Christ. All cleansing flows from what He has done and from your total surrender to Him. You cannot be purified while you keep parts of your life back from God.
✅ The Fire purifies the instrument of speech – The teaching tells us clearly: The fire prepares your lips to speak for the King. God is looking for people who can speak His word accurately, purely, and powerfully. Your words are the bridge between God and the people He sends you to, so they must be clean, they must be true, and they must be full of His power.
✅ Fire removes the dross and refines the gold – In the natural, when you put metal into fire, the impurities rise to the top and are removed, leaving only what is pure and valuable. Spiritually, the fire of God burns away pride, anger, lying, corruption, wrong motives, and every work of the flesh, leaving you with the nature of Christ and the character of God.
✅ Purification leads to commission – Isaiah could not be sent until he was cleansed. You cannot walk in your full purpose, you cannot fulfil your calling, and you cannot walk in the authority God has for you until you have been touched by the purifying fire. Cleansing is the doorway to service.
✅ Fire also preserves and empowers – It does not destroy you; it destroys what is wrong in you, and it strengthens what is right in you. The same fire that purifies is the same fire that empowers you to speak with boldness and to walk in victory.
Wisdom Points
- You cannot give what you do not have, and you cannot speak what you have not received. Purification comes before proclamation.
- The closer you come to God, the more you will see your need for His cleansing, and the more He will make you pure and holy.
- Impurity in the heart and in the lips weakens your power and blocks your blessing; purity of heart and speech opens the heavens and releases the anointing.
- Do not run away from the fire of God’s dealing; run into it, for it is the fire that makes you fit for the Master’s use.
Prayer Points
1. Father, I ask that You take the live coal from Your altar and touch my lips, my heart, my mind, and my entire being, and purge away every sin, every iniquity, and every uncleanness, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, let Your fire burn away every wrong word, every wrong thought, every wrong motive, and every work of the flesh in my life.
3. Father, prepare my lips to speak Your word, to declare Your truth, and to share Your love with boldness, clarity, and power.
4. Lord, refine me as silver and try me as gold; let nothing remain in me that is not like You, and let everything in me be used for Your glory.
5. Father, as You cleanse me, also fill me with Your Spirit and Your power, so that I am not only pure but also productive and powerful in Your kingdom.
6. Lord, remove every weight and every sin that easily besets me, and make me a vessel of honour, sanctified and meet for the Master’s use, prepared unto every good work.
7. Father, let my words be like pure silver tried in the fire, and let my life be a living testimony of Your holiness and Your grace.
Spiritual Activation
- Action Step: Today, ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and your speech. If there is anything you have said or thought that does not please God, confess it and ask for His cleansing. Surrender your mouth and your mind to Him, asking Him to make you a vessel fit to speak His word.
- Activation: Place your hand upon your mouth and your heart and declare: “I am touched by the live coal from God’s altar. My iniquity is taken away and my sin is purged. My lips are purified to speak for the King. My heart is cleansed to love Him and to serve Him. I am a vessel of honour, filled with the Spirit, and ready to say ‘Here am I, send me.’”

DAY 21 | MAY 21
WEEK 3 REVIEW
Theme: The Manifestations of God’s Fire – Answer, Protection and Purity
Core Scriptures Recap
- 1 Kings 18:38 – The fire of the Lord fell and consumed the sacrifice – The Fire that Answers
- Zechariah 2:5 – I will be unto her a wall of fire round about – The Wall of Fire
- Isaiah 6:6 – A live coal taken from the altar touched his lips – The Purifying Coal
- Exodus 13:21-22 – And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night – The Pillar of Fire
Recap of Key Lessons
✅ Day 18 – The Fire that Answers
God’s fire is the proof of His presence and approval. It falls when we surrender fully, it consumes every work of darkness, and it turns hearts back to God. It is heaven’s “AMEN” to your prayers, and it produces testimony and revival wherever it is found. Just as on Mount Carmel, when you stand on God’s word and lay your life on the altar, the fire will fall.
✅ Day 19 – The Wall of Fire
God Himself becomes your protection. To the enemy, He is a consuming fire; to you, He is light, warmth, and glory. He surrounds you everywhere you go, and no power can break through His defence. You do not need to fight your own battles, for the Lord who is with you is greater than all that can be against you. Your security is in Him alone.
✅ Day 20 – The Purifying Coal
The fire works within you to make you pure and fit for service. Taken from the altar of sacrifice, it touches your lips and your heart, removing sin and uncleanness, and preparing you to speak for the King. Cleansing comes before commission, and when you are refined by His fire, you become a vessel of honour, strong and ready for every good work.
✅ The Pillar of Fire
In the journey of faith, God leads and protects His people. The pillar of fire was the visible sign of His presence, moving with them, guiding them, and guarding them all the way.
Key Wisdom Recap
- Fire has many expressions but one source: the nature and presence of God.
- What God does for you is just as important as what He does in you – He answers your prayers, He protects your life, and He purifies your heart.
- Total surrender is the foundation: you cannot receive the fire, walk in the protection, or experience the cleansing while holding on to anything outside of God’s will.
- Every experience with God’s fire leads to a greater purpose: revival, service, and the manifestation of His glory in and through your life.
