There is something refreshing about someone who is willing to call out what is obviously missing in today's day and age. I have spent my life leading teams within hospitality into building my own beverage company right now and one of the things that I noticed was that the old school way of having a drink at the bar, talking and fleshing an idea out has gone away in such a large way! Now I understand that there is a fine line between being a dick and providing perspective / playing devils advocate, so this will be an interesting journey. So, come and say G'day, pull up the proverbial stool and let me know what you're drinking. Next we can chat about what's on your mind...

Growing into 'that guy'
When college students start to reach out wanting to talk to you about Protein and Alcohol, you know you're definitely becoming 'the guy' A couple of days ago, I had a student from Auburn University reach out asking if she could talk to me about a paper she is writing about Protein and Alcohol. As a leader and someone that believes we should encourage the upcoming generation to become the best they can be, I of course said yes. But I realised, I may be onto something. When your step daughter calls from Georgia Institute of Technology because her friends are all drinking your product Mate! Vodka Protein Water and they want to become a sponsored college ambassador... You know you're onto something. When fraternities from The University of Georgia are now reaching out, because the boys want protein and the girls want a great tasting drink for when the football season starts. You know you're onto something. Remember, I didn't build and start the business to become 'that guy', I started with the product and made it the best it could be. But if the rest happens, I will certainly, happily, grow into this new role!!
