Govee lights with track
Okay this was brutal but was good learning experience. Customer purchased 200ft kit 200ft of white track that had to be painted black I Underbid but got guys trained early before the November Rush using this Govee Installation. Charged $1500 on installation Charged $500 extra on painting Charged extra $40 “because customers controller was bad” I had extra one on site. Total $2040 Total labor was 2 man crew 12 hour day. I sort of helped as I do. So maybe budget 20 hours for a project like this. Painting was the real buzz kill. One guy spent 5 hours painting track. Regular 200ft of govee without track is about 4x faster. I price those around $7-8/ft. I’m not trying to keep myself only busy, so you may require higher margins. My recommendation is $3500 to $4500 on this installation with track and $1400-1600 without track if customer supplies the kit. *always carry extra kits to keep speed going fast and prevent roadblocks like not enough extensions
