Sexual Sins, Shame, and Trust in His Promise
“But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality or any kind of impurity” (Ephesians 5:3). God called me to be sexually pure, but I was far from that. I struggled with pornography and prostitution for over a decade, feeling deeply ashamed and unworthy of God. My view of the opposite sex was warped, with constant intrusive sexual thoughts, even at church. Can I be forgiven for visiting prostitutes? Can I still be saved? I share this testimony because God has forgiven me. Though I deserved condemnation, Christ’s blood saved me. I no longer feel shame, as it reflects a lack of faith in my Savior’s promise. I will sin no more, not by my own strength, but because I love Him more than gratifying the flesh. If you struggle with lust, find assurance in Christ’s sacrifice for your sins. You are washed clean. Focus on who He is, not what you are.

Introduce Yourself
Hi there, My name is Vincent and I created this community so that Christians around the world can be biblically transformed and navigate the world through a biblical lens instead of a secular lens. We aspire to glorify our Lord through our daily life by examining our hearts, cultivating good fruits and standing firm in our identity in Christ. A bit about my faith journey: I was born in a Christian home to a pastor mother. As I matured in age I started to have questions regarding the faith and I became a staunch atheist at the age of 16. During my atheistic phase I did everything under the sun. All the things society warns you not to do I have probably done. There were no rules and it felt like freedom. But inside I was dead and I chased the next dopamine hit to feel alive, only to be left empty again. In my early 20s, I experienced a few episodes of acute psychosis and God has miraculously saved me from causing serious harm to others and myself. I was driving in Melbourne city centre in a state of unconsciousness at high speed for an extended period of time and I came to a stop when I hit a tram pole. No one was hurt including myself. In the state of psychosis, I experienced that reality is more than meets the eyes, and that there are other layers of reality that have power over our material one. I don't necessarily mean it in a supernatural sense, I simply mean it in the experiential sense. In simple terms, there is indeed a spiritual realm and my life style was opening doors to demonic forces. Through the grace of God, he sent angels to me, allowed the Holy Spirit to work in my heart and I became a Christian at the age of 27. I now have enough spiritual sensitivity to proclaim that the secular way is not the way to life and that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. I feel compelled to be more Christ like and spread the Gospel. As a follower of Christ and fellow brother in Christ, the purpose of this community is to provide biblical resources to help you deepen your faith and become more Christ-like.
