Where it all began - Part 4
After sharing the humble beginnings of this Goal Getting journey, I feel like now is when the rubber truly meets the road. This is where we establish traction and momentum - daily habits and practices that are actionable, practical, and measurable.
This is where we experience true personal transformation, because we're not just doing more - we are becoming more. We are learning, growing, and strengthening ourselves for our achievements. None of us are here for self-serving reasons. We are here because we are God-fearing, God-serving, love-giving women of faith. ๐๐ผ
Because of that, we are boldly moving forward without guilt, hesitation, or reservation. We know in our hearts that our bottom line is pleasing the Lord and carrying out the divine destiny He has prepared for each of us - and we will not listen when the enemy tries to whisper that we are being greedy or selfish. Every good and perfect gift comes from God, and we will spend the few short years we have on this planet "going about and doing good," just as Jesus did as our example, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
There are two things I want to touch on as we move forward:

I live in Tulsa, OK, and I'm a member of the Online Campus of Faith Church, pastored by David and Nicole Crank. (You'd be amazed at how many online members there are all over the country!) We continue to meet each week, as you can see from the weekly replays posted in the Classroom. The Goal Getters Online Connect Group is part of the Connect Groups ministry of Faith Church in St. Louis, Missouri and West Palm Beach, Florida.
As I shared previously, each week we work our way through the book Goal Getters by Nicole Crank. Sometimes we'll spend two to four weeks discussing a single chapter - and that's perfectly fine! The principles and action items in the book are a repeatable process that can be continually applied to your goals as you achieve them and create new ones.
You absolutely do not have to be a member of Faith Church to join us for the book study - and I'd love for you to! The day, time, and weekly Zoom link are all posted in the Calendar above. We meet every Wednesday for one hour at 6:30pm CST. ๐
And on the other hand ๐๏ธ joining the weekly Zoom meetings are definitely NOT required to benefit from this online community. Simply a bonus if you'd like to join us.

Personal goal setting is just that - personal. It can feel a little awkward sharing your dreams and goals with a room full of strangers. (It is for me too, honestly.) ๐
We're still a fairly new group, and our first twenty or so members were Connect Group regulars and family, so some of us already knew each other a little. If you're reading this and haven't yet posted in the "Hi! My Name isโฆ ๐" category, especially if youโve been here from Day 1, would you take a few moments to introduce yourself? We really do want everyone to get to know each other! And donโt forget to comment, โHi!โ right back to each one!
I also want to assure you that as new members request to join, I am carefully reviewing each request to protect the environment we're building here. (I've already had to decline a few flagged as spam risks - or who were men!) ๐คฃ A few have also joined and realized this isn't quite their cup of tea, and honestly, I appreciate that kind of self-awareness and honesty.
I still have Classroom modules to finish and a few other things to put in place - and I am so excited about the goal achieving we are going to do together!
