Observe Time Progression • As time passes, watch the movement of the minute hand relative to the fixed second hand. • The minute hand will continue advancing while the second hand remains at its marked position. 5. Use for Measurement • Track how much time has elapsed by noting the difference between the minute hand’s new position and the marked position. Using this method, you can measure elapsed time for up to one hour because the minute hand moves one full revolution in 60 minutes. The second hand serves as a fixed reference, allowing you to track how much time has passed since the initial marking. If you need to measure longer periods, you would need to reset and remark the position accordingly.
