But she explained it's not just for setting up; it's your secret weapon for finding and fixing any tech issues before anyone else even arrives. Imagine solving a printer problem calmly instead of panicking with guests watching – that's a game-changer for sure! 2.Backups Aren't Optional, They're Essential: This was a huge lightbulb moment for me. Leah made it clear that having duplicates for everything – from a second printer (she mentioned the DNP QW410, which sounds super handy!) to dedicated hotspots and multiple pre-formatted SD cards – isn't just a good idea, it's a must-have. It's like building a safety net so that if one thing goes wrong, your whole event doesn't crash. 3.Mastering the 'Pivot' Keeps You Looking Pro: Leah taught us that when tech issues pop up (because they totally will sometimes), it's all about how you handle it. Instead of freaking out or telling everyone about the problem, you communicate solutions to the event coordinator. She said to frame it as a smooth 'pivot,' like switching to digital delivery, instead of a crisis. It makes you look super confident and in control, which is awesome. And honestly, one of the coolest parts of the whole session for me was just being there, seeing all the faces behind the names I recognize from the Chit Chat community. It was so cool to finally put faces to names and feel like I'm really part of this amazing group. Plus, hearing someone say, "But no, I think what he's doing, you know what mean? Just starting college and already interning is wonderful," really made me feel seen and encouraged. It's inspiring to be around so many experienced people who are so supportive.
