Do you focus more on your rating in chess and get a little bit pissed off of losing streaks , you try to gain those points back and we all know how that ends😅
or you just play regardless of winning or losing ?
look at these ratings below : both are mine actually but on different accounts.
number 2 is my main account , I'm so tied to that number (2100+) , so i play anxious , and not wanting to lose.
number 1 is my alt account , i don't care a bit about it (2240+) , i play cause i love the game.
look at the difference ! , i never reached 2300 on my main account but did it on the alt one.
focus on the things you can control , your thinking , your tactics , and learning from your games.
you can't control your rating , but you can control your skills and thoughts.
never get attached to a number , or it will eat all your skills and mindset in the game.
i peaked 150 ELO points higher than my actual rating , how crazy is that?
