If you’ve ever been there, it’s stunningly beautiful… and crowded. Tourism at its finest. Mind you absolutely worth the trip.
I bought a few touristy things - a wee dish, a print and a couple bags of herb blends for pasta.
They herb blends looked kinda cool but I was skeptical.
Fast forward 2 years and today I FINALLY got around to trying one of them. Super simple pasta dish - diced chicken breast, sliced onions, olive oil, parmigiano reggiano and the spice mixture. Tossed on a fine capellini pasta.
It was absolutely lovely! I paired with a killer Caesar salad, (I have a wonderful recipe!) and a glass of French Bordeaux and it was wonderful.
You never really know till you try something, but I’m glad I finally did.
