Staff Training at Champions Character | We Practise What We Teach
One of the nine core lessons we teach in Champions Character is called The Daily Four.
The Daily Four is a simple reminder that every champion should look after four important areas of life, every single day:
💪 BODY – Keep yourself physically strong and healthy.
🧠 MIND – Never stop learning and growing.
❤️ HEART – Build great relationships and care for others.
✨ SOUL – Take time to reflect, be grateful and understand your purpose.
Today's staff training wasn't just about becoming better martial artists.
It was about living the very lessons we teach our students.
People often think we're simply a martial arts school. We certainly love martial arts—it has been my passion for over 45 years, and I truly believe it is one of the greatest activities a child can do.
But martial arts is also the vehicle we use to teach something even bigger.
Every lesson is built around our Champions Character framework:
⭐ FOCUS – Great listeners become great learners.
⭐ SKILL – Confidence grows by learning valuable skills through consistent practice.
⭐ BELIEF – Success and repetition help children believe in themselves.
Our instructors train every week because we believe leadership starts with example. If we're asking our students to develop themselves, we should be doing exactly the same.
Champions don't just train when they feel like it.
Champions train because that's who they are.
