Chairside Systems is a Metro Detroit–based private community built specifically for barbershop owners.
Owning a shop is different from working behind the chair. You’re responsible for the people, the money, the culture, the problems, and the decisions — and most of the time, you’re figuring it out alone.
Chairside Systems is a place for owners to connect with other owners, work through problems together, share what’s working, learn from mistakes, and have conversations you often can’t have with staff or renters.
We talk about the real issues owners face: hiring, staffing, booth rental vs. commission, pricing, profitability, marketing, shop culture, leadership, policies, expenses, growth, and difficult conversations.
This is not a general barber education group. It’s a private network for people who own and operate barbershops.
Owning a barbershop may always be competitive. It doesn’t have to be lonely.
