Hi Everyone! Thank you for joining our CELPIP Community. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have been an English Language teacher for 22 years. I have been teaching the CELPIP Test for over 9 years. I am from Canada, but I have also lived in South Korea (5 years), Japan (5 years), and India (6 months)! I have been a language learner most of my life - most people born in Canada study French in school, but I have also learned Korean and Japanese. I know what it is like to live in a new country and have to learn the language. It isn't easy, but it can be fun and interesting. I live in Victoria, BC, Canada and I enjoy reading and writing, but my favourite time of day is when I make malcha (what Koreans call matcha), a powdered green tea drink that is popular in South Korea and Japan. I also love a TV series called Star Trek! I am a Star Trek Geek, which means I spend too much time reading, watching, and playing anything Star Trek! I look forward to getting to know you all as our community grows.
