No American who served this country should ever be forced to live without shelter in the nation they defended. The Catalano Veterans Never Homeless Act of 2028 is built on a simple and unshakable principle: If a soldier was willing to fight for this country, this country must fight for them when they return home. This Act establishes a permanent national commitment to ensure that every veteran has access to safe housing, comprehensive healthcare, mental health support, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives with dignity. It focuses on real solutions — converting unused federal properties into housing, expanding trauma recovery systems, strengthening workforce reintegration, and creating accountability across every level of government. This is not a temporary program. This is a long-term national promise. America owes its veterans more than gratitude. America owes them stability, opportunity, and respect.
