Dreams can come true
I spoke to her last night. She did it. She just bought a run-down 1930s house by Lake Como. A dream come true. Now she’s building. Not just rebuilding the house but building her dream life. She hardly talks about what she had to give up, or the sacrifices she made. Maybe just the tiniest hint… because she doesn’t want me to think it was “just luck.” Here’s my promise to you: You don’t need luck to create what you truly want. Dare to act. Dare to let go. Dare to dream.

Workhorse Day ?
Today is Workhorse Day! Not joking! Ever heard the saying: “Are you a workhorse or a show horse?” It’s Dutch and it means; 👉 The workhorse is the one who carries, builds, and truly makes a difference. 👉 The show horse shines, but doesn’t do the heavy lifting. I know where I stand. I’m hyperactive, not afraid to get tired. Sundays are my prep day: ✅ checking my schedule (and my family’s too) ✅ meal prepping ✅ planning my outfits For me, that’s also work. Because good preparation is half the job done. And honestly? Being a workhorse is something to want. That’s where the power is. That’s how you create impact. I’m going live for our weekly reflection. Come hang out and let’s celebrate that hard work can be beautiful too. And tell me: do you see yourself more as a workhorse or a show horse?

Reverse Accountability
I just have to share my big win this week. Not a financial one this time, but… household! I’m someone who does NOT do well with: 🚫 Budgets 🚫 To-do lists 🚫 Strict meal plans There’s this quiet rebellion in me that makes me ignore whatever is on the list. Do you know that feeling? And cleaning? Boring, endless, and like carrying water to the sea – never done. But… I flipped the script. For the past two weeks, I’ve had a cleaning schedule that doesn’t show what I have to do, but what I already did. Reverse accountability. ✅ 🧹 Max. 2 hours a day 🧹 Check off what DID get done 🧹 Skip a day? Fine – but not two 🧹 Extra tasks = extra satisfaction And guess what? It works! I feel productive, without the annoying pressure of “should.” Until my house is fully Marie Kondo-proof, this is how I manage it. And honestly? It already feels so much lighter. Can you relate? Are you team to-do list or team anti-to-do?

What do you put in a pill?
I had perhaps one of the most inspiring conversations in ages. With Janneke van Overhoudt – she makes pills from wood. Yes, really: hollow pills, in which you can put something that makes you feel good. It's her beautiful thought and it made me think a lot. What would I put in such a pill? ✔️A €50 bill, for when it really turns out to war? ✔️A beautiful spell that gives me strength in dark days? ✔️Or maybe... my phone, to get rid of all the stimuli and return to my own focus and what really matters. But the conversation continued. About life. About your life course. And about the pill you develop from the inside, So you don't fall back into old behavior. So that you continue to choose what serves you. Maybe that's the real pill: The courage to pack yourself up again and again. The discipline to keep growing. The sweetness to forgive yourself if you do fall back. Your turn: What inner pill would you develop to not let yourself be withdrawn into old behavior?
