First up, they partnered with Etsy + Shopify sellers — but best believe this is just the beginning.
Here’s why this is HUGE for us as digital product creators:
- 🛒 Discovery = Sales → People are already in ChatGPT searching for solutions. If your digital product solves their need, it could be surfaced right there in chat. No scrolling feeds, no fighting algorithms.
- ⚡ Frictionless checkout → Instead of sending people to a million links, checkout happens instantly inside ChatGPT. The fewer clicks, the faster the sale.
- 🌍 Early-mover advantage → Right now it’s Etsy + Shopify, but when this opens wider, creators who understand prompts + positioning will own the marketplace.
This is proof of what I’ve been preaching: the right prompt + the right product = profit.
For us, it’s not about waiting until “everybody else” catches on. It’s about knowing how to show up early, package what we know, and claim space before the wave hits.
