“The Gate of Exchange: Your Burdens for His Rest”
(Close your eyes and visualize this as you read and embrace your "rest") 🌿 The Threshold Close your eyes and imagine an ancient wooden gate—weathered, sturdy, hand‑crafted by the Shepherd Himself. This is the Shepherd’s Door. It stands between the world you serve and the pasture where your soul rests. You are standing on holy ground. 🌿 Laying Down the Pack Take a slow breath in. As you exhale, roll your shoulders back. Visualize the heavy pack of burdens—stories, crises, emotions, responsibilities—sliding off your shoulders. Set it gently beside the gate. You are not abandoning people; you are releasing what was never yours to carry alone. 🌿 Entering In Step through the Shepherd’s Door. Hear Jesus’ words echo around you: “I am the gate. Whoever enters through Me will be saved; they will come in and go out, and find pasture.” Feel the safety of that promise. Feel the shift in identity. On this side of the gate, you are not the counselor, the helper, the intercessor, or the strong one. You are simply His beloved. 🌿 The Latch Behind you, the gate closes with a gentle click. This is not a prison door—it is a boundary of peace. Nothing demanding, draining, or urgent can follow you in here unless the Shepherd Himself invites it. 🌿 Resting in the Pasture Breathe deeply. Let the green pasture rise around you—soft grass, warm light, still waters. Let your nervous system settle. Let your spirit unclench. Let your soul remember its name. Stay here as long as you need.
