One of the key distinctions between this diet/way of eating from the rest, is that you pretty much need to discard everything you were taught about diet, as most of it is wrong. A ton of marketing ploys, sophisticated propaganda and reverse psychology has been used to encourage people to eat poison. Most of the "Food" that we eat not only lead to future harms, but they provide zero nutritional value. In fact many of the constituents of our food, impedes the absorption of nutrients. You unfortunately have to have a conspiratorial mindset, as if the system is against you, because it is. When they coerce you to take something, it is never for your own good, as something that is beneficial doesn't require coercion. Take any child starting off with food and give it pureed vegetables, it is generally revulsion, though give it anything with fat, and you will have a little critter on your hands. Babies cholesterol levels range anywhere from 240+, but for some reason in an Adult it is potentially fatal?
I am afraid to tell you, but this diet is a rabbit hole, as you will discover over the course of your journey that you have been blatantly lied to.
