What’s ONE thing you learned the hard way
Wings + Backpacks + Balance + Weight + Comfort
I learned the hard way that you can't make your backpack too big, My first lesson in making costumes was designing too big and not planning how to get the huge piece to the venue. I made wings and they were not only too big but too heavy as well. Since then, I've learned to build smarter. Your backpacks should be lightweight and capable of being broken down into smaller pieces for travel.
