Welcome to The Caregiver Circle
💜 Welcome to The Caregiver Circle This space is for the ones who are always caring for everyone else. Here, you don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t have to explain why you’re tired. And you definitely don’t have to pretend everything is okay. Come here to connect, vent, laugh, exhale, share your wins, share the hard days, or simply be around people who understand. 💜 Because the caregiver deserves care too. Let’s start here: 👇🏽 What kind of caregiver are you — family caregiver, professional caregiver, CNA, home health, former caregiver, or something else?

đź’ś CAREGIVER CHECK-IN đź’ś
I want to ask my caregivers something REAL today… What is one thing about caregiving that you wish people understood without you having to explain it? The exhaustion? The guilt? Missing who you used to be? Feeling like everything falls on you? Loving your person deeply but still needing a BREAK? There is no wrong answer and no judgment over here. Sometimes caregivers don’t need advice. Sometimes we just need somewhere we can say, “This is hard,” and have somebody understand. 👇🏽 Talk to me. What’s the part nobody talks about?

💜 SACRAMENTO CAREGIVERS — THIS SPACE IS FOR YOU.
đź’ś A REAL MOMENT FROM MY CAREGIVER JOURNEY
I originally shared this video on TikTok, and I honestly wasn’t expecting the response it received. People have been watching, sharing, saving and connecting with it. In this video, I open up about a side of dementia caregiving that isn’t always talked about — the confusion, the accusations, being blamed for things you didn’t do or things that happened years ago, and the emotional toll it can take on the caregiver. I’m sharing it here because THIS is what The Caregiver Circle is about. Not pretending every day is easy. Not judging each other. Not having to explain why we’re exhausted. Just caregivers being able to say, “This is what I’m going through,” and having somebody else understand. 💜 After you watch, I want to hear from you: Have you ever experienced your loved one blaming you for something you didn’t do, confusing you with someone from their past, or remembering something completely differently than you remember it? 👇🏽 Share only what you’re comfortable sharing. This is our safe space. 💜

💜 CAREGIVER CHECK-IN Let’s talk about the part people don’t always see… As caregivers, we spend so much time making sure our loved ones are okay that sometimes nobody stops to ask about us. So tonight I want to ask: What has been the HARDEST part of caregiving for you lately? 💜 The repeating 💜 Being blamed or accused of things 💜 Personality/behavior changes 💜 Sleepless nights 💜 Sundowning 💜 Feeling overwhelmed 💜 Family not understanding 💜 Trying to balance caregiving with your own life 💜 Something completely different You don’t have to have the perfect words. Even if all you can say tonight is “I’m tired,” that’s welcome here. 👇🏽 Drop yours below. How are YOU really doing? — The Caregiver Circle 💜
